Chapter 22 I looked up and realized the bright lights had been turned off and I could see back into the room. I was surprised to see Tim and Jane standing there. I walked over to them. Tim immediately hugged me. “God, you’re good. I think you’re the best we’ve signed.” “I can’t handle that, Tim,” I mumbled. “Get used to it.” Then Jane came forward and gave me a kiss on the cheek. “Some of yesterday’s photos were spectacular.” She grinned at me. “And from what I’ve seen this afternoon, there’ll be a lot we can use from there, too. Everyone wants this to go ahead.” “Here,” Tim said. “Sit down, you look exhausted.” I laughed. “I probably smell that way, too.” I sat down on one of the chairs in a cluster, away from the set.
