Chapter 48It had been almost twenty minutes when the three entered the conference room, and it would be another fifteen before the twelve pizzas arrived. There was much animated talking as they arrived.
Michelle was the first to speak to them. “Paul, I think you forgot something,” everyone laughed. They all saw Tom's face, cleanly shaved for the first time in many months, and Paul's which still had a long wild beard.
“I was thinking of keeping it.”
“Not if you're coming home with me,” Michelle added.
This generated more laughter from the group.
