Chapter 30The room was utterly silent as the three stared at the envelope. After several seconds, they looked at one another but still did not speak or move.
Finally, Paul reached out and carefully opened the envelope. Inside was a USB drive. Paul took the device out and looked at it. There was no label, but there was more blood smudged on it. He felt a chill and mild nausea developing. He looked at Tom and Catherine and could see that they felt something similar. Without saying a word, he plugged the drive in the laptop and opened the media file.
