PHANTASM: VOYAGED TO THE WORLD OF MAGIC

Light was turned off. Creaking of the mattress echoed upon the four cornered room. Gasping, little murmurs and giggles filled the entire domicile leaving a soft high pitch voice of a girl. Upon the bed, the only visible light was the phone she was holding. She was busy rolling back and forth and was so immense in reading her favorite manga that she didn't notice she was at the edge of the bed leaving her body to meet the floor. “Argh… That hurts my back.” she caressed her back while making a face of pain but it immediately turned into excitement. “Where's my phone? Kyahhhh did Kiyan-sama kissed Shea-chan?! OMG! My ship is sailing!” she started looking for her phone. She found her phone under the bed and excitedly open it to see what will be the next scene. It was clear in her face that it is not what she expected. That happy face turned into a dark and gloomy one. A face that got cliffhanged. “TO. BE. CONTINUED. NEXT ISSUE WILL BE RELEASED NEXT OCT. 5 20XX” she read aloud. “What?!” a mourning seared upon the room, it echoes all around the domicile. “Wahhhhhhh... cliffhanger. Why can't the author just make them go fall in love already?! Why next week?! I can't wait that long!” she tosses her phone on her bed. She grabbed her hair and started a tantrum. “Kiyan-sama!!! Argh!!! Why can't the author just make my ship sail?” her legs slapping the floor while her hands was clenching because of frustration. A bird flew away from her window. That startled her. Her attention was piqued by the bird. She got up harshly, drastically goes to the window with a face looking so depressed. She forgot to closed her window earlier because she was so focus on reading her fave manga. Grabbing the handle of both windows, she looks up and stared upon the sky. The night sky was peaceful. The moon was splendidly lighting up the surface of the Earth. She was held in awe because of the vibrancy of the moon. It's as if it was burning in the night sky spreading light throughout the whole place. It was spectacular. She shook her head then closed the window. “I swear to the holiness of the moon, if I could travel to a fantasy world I would definitely find my own Kiyan-sama.” the moon flashed bright sparkling in the middle of the night along with the hordes of glittering stars. She throws herself to her bed then stared on the ceiling. “Aishh… My head hurts because of that manga. Ah! I still have a class and quiz tomorrow. I'll take a nap. One week will just be quick.” voice turning soft like a muffled muffin as she dozed off to sleep with a smile flashed on her lips. --- Cold creeps beneath her skin, enveloping her whole body. Shivers running down to her system, she hug herself. “Why it is so cold? Did I forget to close my window again?” she rolled to the left still hugging herself. “And err why does it tickles on my feet and it felt sticky? What's this eerie ambiance…” eyes still closed. “Grrr... grrr… Grrr…” it's getting louder. “Puppy shoo… Stop licking my foot, it tickles.” she was giggling without knowing what was licking her toes. Her eyes hang wide open when she realized what she had said. “Wait, what?! A dog?! When did I get myself a dog?” she looked around and saw a monster-- err a beast licking her foot. It was drooling over her toes. She crawls backwards because of the tension she felt. She clearly saw the drools coming out from the beast mouth. “Err… That's gross. I want to puke.” her arms was shaking. The beast was staring at her hungrily. She moves backwards until she hits a tree. “TREE?! What the-- where am I? This isn't my room!” she was already screaming in her head. Her thought were running in turmoil. She was scared and bewildered. “Please if this is just a dream, I want to wake up!” she shouts while closing her eyes. She was hoping that it's just some nightmare. She opened her eyes, only to find out that she's still in the place and the beast was already near, staring at her voraciously. She swallowed a lumped on her throat. Sweat trickling down to her forehead as nervousness was eating her system up. “You're not going to eat me, right? You're a good mous-- dog right?” she tried to force a smile but it turned into a grimace. She was still convincing herself that it's a dream… The beast growled on her face. That's it when she realized that it's no mere dream. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! SO-SOMEONE… S-SOME-ONE PLS HELP MEEEEEEEE!” she shouts from the top of her lungs. She nearly faint because of the shocked. A guy jumped off from the tree while rubbing his ears with ab annoyed face, without prolonging he dashed to the beast and slashed its head off. With the sun burning bright, the man walks towards her. He was like dazzling knight under the beaming sun in her sight. She squinted her eyes and saw the guy's angelic face. “Are you an angel? Am I dead? Please take me to the other world safely…” voice faded as she collapsed from too much accumulated stress in her head and slowly closed her eyes. She fainted. The guy stood in front of her. Annoyance was vivid in his face. “What a pesky, noisy girl ruining my nap. TSS!” without another word she lifted the girl on her shoulder like a sack of rice.
