"Nikolai!" I screamed, tears filling my eyes as I immediately went on my knees, my fingers trembling. My chest was heaving hard. And I stood up, then ran to the telephone, dialling the number.
"My boyriend fainted. Please send someone. Please!"
I didn't wait to hear the answer as I ran back to Nikolai. He had a bit of blood around his head, and I pulled him to me, his head on my lap, his body limp.
I was crying hysterically, my body shaking as I kept calling his name over and over and over. He didn't reply, however, and he was just lying there, unable to love.
I swallowed hard and slowly let him go, then ran to the door. I ran down to the front desk, my chest heaving.
