Nikolai slowly pulled me into his arms, my legs still wrapped around him, despite how shaky they were. He held them gently, then led me towards the bathroom. I stayed on him as he ran a hot bath for me, then filled it with bath soaps, a few lavender and roses making a rather great mix. Once he was done, he lowered me to the water, his eyes holding mine as he gently let me in.
I sighed as the water closed in on me, and my eyes closed. It all felt so good. All of it.
"Take a bit of time to yourself," he said, caressing my face. "I will be back in a minute."
I nodded as he kissed my forehead and the tip of my nose, then stood up and walked away, leaving me in the bath.
I relaxed in the water, closing my eyes, the flashbacks hitting me kike a f*****g train.
