CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE
Madeleine was barely awake as she heard a huge amount of noise outside the tent. She woke up Princess Candera. Although it was light, Madeleine reckoned that it must be only just past sunrise.
She dressed quickly and rushed out of the tent.
“What’s going on?” she asked a passing human soldier.
“We’ve taken Azuro. We are all moving there,” said the soldier.
Soon several Dark Elves appeared to cajole Princess Candera out of bed. Madeleine wondered why there was such a rush.
Dark Elves and Giants were quickly packing away every tent and the whole camp was literally gone before midday and they started to walk across the Southern Plains.
It took several days for the army to arrive at Azuro. The city had fallen relatively easily to a small force of Giants and Dark E
