CHAPTER FORTY-THREE
Madeleine pointed down at the bottom of the waterfall.
“There!” said Madeleine.
“There? How in Jonub’s name are we going to get down there?” asked Kolan.
“We’ll have to climb down. Does anyone have any rope?” said Madeleine.
Everyone looked a bit concerned. None of them particularly fancied climbing down the cliff.
“Look, there is a path over there!” said Hilary, pointing at the other side of the valley.
“But then we need to cross the river above the waterfall,” said Madeleine.
“Isn’t there a bridge somewhere?” said Hilary.
“Not that I know of. The route Talomere put in my mind says he magically lowered himself down there,” said Madeleine.
“Trelio?” asked Krolith.
“I haven’t got any powers, remember!” said Trelio, angrily.
“Sorry, I forgot,” said Krolith
