Roubar had been told of Lorimor’s arrival. He appeared in the palace, looking slightly sheepish, and immediately went to meet Roubar.
“How did things go in Scrinon?” asked Roubar.
“Very well, so well in fact that I need you to do something,” said Lorimor.

“How many more people do you think this city could cope with?” said Lorimor.
“A few. A lot of people have left since we took over,” said Roubar.

“Why? How many people are coming here?” said Roubar.
“Most of the freed slaves are going to come here,” said Lorimor.
“There’s a lot of slaves in Scrinon! We can’t cope with all of them!” said Roubar.
