CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN
After sleeping in the corridor, exhausted from their trip to the laboratory, gradually all the party woke.
“Why didn’t any of us think of the obvious?” asked Madeleine.
“I guess we thought you and Trelio knew what you were doing,” said Krolith.
“I did hope I could magically re-open the portal,” said Trelio.
“Can you make yourself invisible?” asked Kolan.
“Yes. I’m getting a handle on these powers now,” said Trelio.
“Why don’t you do some reconnaissance outside and work out where we are. There might be another portal around here somewhere,” said Kolan.
“The only place we know there is a portal is on that bridge. That’s not open all the time either. We could just wait for this portal to open again,” said Trelio.
“But it might only be one way,” said Madeleine.
