ARIA'S POV Walking alone in the forest at night was scary and incredibly dull. And there were many bugs, I thought, as I swatted at my arm at another mosquito sucking my blood. Ugh. This was such a bad idea. Hearing more twigs snap, I didn't even flinch. I was used to the sounds of the forest at this point. The wildlife was noisy, and the forest engulfing me echoed their sounds back at me. I needed a break. I looked around, searching for a nice spot to sit. I had a few snacks, and my stomach rumbled with hunger. I just needed to find a log or something. When I finally found a downed tree large enough to bear my weight, I tested it by kicking it.
