CADEN'S POV
"You knew she was leaving?" I screamed.
I stared at Rowena and Vivian's lowered eyes, who stood there silently. Rowena spoke first. "I was unaware of her travel arrangements, or I would have offered something more in the way of protection or alerted you, but yes. We were both part of her leaving."
Vivian shot a glare at Rowena. "Don't go blaming me for what happened. I knew she was going, but I didn't realize the woods were that dangerous. Maybe you guys should have warned us."
I looked between them. "I don't care who did what, when, or how, but I do care that both of you knew she was taking off tonight, and no one alerted me. And now she's off in the forest by herself, unprotected, untrained, and we have to send a search party for her now. You two...I'll deal with you two
