ROSES AND BEES.

Damian drove into his father’s mansion and rushed out of the car, screaming “Mother!” but he got no response. The magnificent building was very quiet and it made him more worried.

As he tried to get in the elevator he heard a tiny voice,” Welcome home darling” and Damian stopped to look in the direction of the voice. Lo and Behold it was Pauler.

He wished he could disappear, he got very infuriated, what could she possibly be doing in his house? Where could his mother be? Wondering who gave her access and was very worried about his mother's way about.

He began to search the house, as he looked for his mother, surprisingly he couldn’t find her.

Then his phone beeped, it was an iMessage from his mother, saying “Come to the poolside”, immediately he rushed to the poolside shouting “Mother!”

He got to the poolside yet couldn’t find his mother, with the thought of Pauler’s presence in his father's house he became extremely nervous and afraid.

More than a thousand thoughts flashed through his mind, all he wanted was to see his mom.

His mom called his name “Damian”. She sat at the outdoor bar by the poolside, it was dark and he couldn't see her, but the sound of her voice made his nerves calm.

“Mother please what is going on, why is she here?”Damian asked in a quavering voice as he walked towards the bar to meet his mother.

But his mother was silent, she couldn't utter a word. He asked his mother one more time, but shockingly she remained mute. Suddenly, it dawned on Damian that something was off and his mother was acting strange.

He held his mother and lifted her so he could take her upstairs to ensure she was safe, they headed towards the main building with his heart filled with anger.

The look on his face was very fierce, and he walked into the house to his greatest surprise, Pauler was there and she wasn't alone, she was with George, Pauler’s boyfriend. Pauler planned with George to take Mr Dave’s business documents so they could take over his company and sell some family assets. George is the reason Pauler betrayed Damian and left him heartbroken, and now he has to not only face the devil but also have the devil in his father’s house as a guest.

“Damian, we came here for the Birmingham documents, I am sure you thought you were smart enough to hide them from me”, Pauler said as she flipped her hair, nearly blinding his eyes.

Damian was extremely enraged,” What document could you be talking about, you have to leave this place right now and never come back”, he responded angrily.

Kendra giggled, as she pulled out a small pistol,” Damian, George and I found out you have a carcass in your wardrobe and it could ruin your family legacy and reputation forever, anyway that's not why we are here, we are here for the documents and we won't walk out of that door if we don't get it “. She sounded very pessimistic.

Mrs. Sharon Dave was so anxious and gripped by fear, as she held her son so tight, it was a very traumatizing moment for her.” Son, please hand whatever they are requesting over to them” She told Damian with so much fear in her eyes.

Damian was not even willing and ready to cooperate with Pauler, he was a very fierce and stubborn personality.” I still don't know what you are talking about and I will never hand any documents over to you and this criminal you brought here with you” he said angrily in a very deep voice.

Pauler stood very close to him with treachery and malevolence in her eyes.” Whoever is stubborn after being corrected many times will suddenly be hurt beyond cure”, said Pauler to Damian as she looked into his eyes.

Suddenly she grabbed a taser from her pocket then she powered the taser, and also brought a photo out, it was Kendra’s photo, and she charged towards Damian, his mother screamed but George had a very firm grip on her.

Damian was extremely astonished and his eyes were wide open, he asked himself a thousand questions in his head. How did Pauler find out about Kendra? What was she doing with her photo? Could this be his last day on earth, what would happen to his mother? Pauler hit him with the taser.

The taser clenched every muscle in Damian’s body making him unable to move, it felt like he was being hit by lightning. He fell to the ground like a log of wood. It was a disorienting experience for Damian, leading to involuntary muscle contractions, it made him stiff while he jerked on the floor with a blurred vision.

George and Pauler disappeared into thin air, Damian’s mother rushed towards her son in tears as she screamed. She was shaking him gently as she asked him if he was okay in fear. Afterward, she lifted him in fear.

Damian wrestled to sit up, and he wondered where George and Pauler could have been. His mother made an attempt to call 911 but he stopped her from doing so, Pauler already told him he had a carcass in his wardrobe that could destroy his family’s name and legacy forever, he believed he had already caused enough damage to his family and because of that he wanted to thread carefully, and was willing to protect his loved ones at all cost before getting the police involved.

“I think we should leave here, it doesn’t feel safe anymore ”, said Mrs. Sharon Dave. But Damian made her understand if trouble visits their home, the best thing to do wouldn’t be to run away, rather they should tackle the root cause as a team.

He stood up feeling extremely tired and weak as he escorted his mother upstairs. He made sure he put her to bed, the moment she fell asleep he tiptoed out of her bedroom and headed to his chambers.

At his doorstep, his phone beeped, he looked at it, and it was a text message from an unknown number, immediately it made him chilled to his bone marrow, wondering who it could be.

He picked it up and opened it, he found a card inside it, as he pulled it out as he saw on the card frightened him.

He read what was written in the text slowly,” Don’t play with me, I have a close watch on you, come in Damian I'm expecting you!”
