CHAPTER FIFTY
It took a while, but finally Jess and Benjamin somehow managed to convince me that it was okay to leave my Mum and follow them down to the clinic. I didn't like the idea as usual but then they made it seem like a way better option left, than sitting around the cabin, alone and sulking.
Taking mum's Tundra, TD drove the three of us drove to the clinic, and all through the ride, no one said a word or uttered a sound. All we heard was the smooth hum of the truck giving us a calming harmonic background sound.
It was still strange to me how the truck was still running smoothly, still in tiptop condition, and still giving the nostalgic feeling of familiarity that it always offered.
God I miss Mum so much !!
