In Silvermoon City, the full moon has a mysterious power that can unleash the potential of werewolves. Werewolf Leonard is the son of a tribal leader.

Evelyn is an English French mixed race forensic expert with strong professional abilities. Once, she was attacked by criminals after work, and Leonard came to her aid. Leonard was attracted by Evelyn's fresh breath, while Evelyn was puzzled and wary of Leonard's strange behavior.

A few days later, Evelyn received a bizarre murder case with a strange wound on the victim. Leonard also arrived at the scene because the case may be related to the werewolf. The two met again and had an argument. Evelyn suspected Leonard of being the murderer, and Leonard warned her not to interfere before leaving.

Evelyn conducted in-depth research and found that the wound was similar to the bite mark in the ancient werewolf legend. Leonard was also investigating the case and discovered that there was a mysterious force plotting a conspiracy behind it to threaten the safety of Silvermoon City. Leonard confessed his werewolf identity to Evelyn, and the two decided to collaborate.

During the investigation, their relationship heated up. While tracking a clue, he fell into an enemy trap and a group of evil werewolves appeared. Leonard transformed to protect Evelyn, and after repelling the enemy, he was injured. Evelyn felt sorry for him and treated her wounds.

However, a greater crisis arose as a mysterious force attempted to provoke a werewolf war, igniting human fear and hatred towards werewolves in order to rule Silvermoon City. Evelyn takes Leonard back to the werewolf territory to protect her from being injured. Evelyn sees the true face and conflicts of the werewolf society, and Leonard faces a difficult decision to protect Evelyn and safeguard the interests of the werewolf.

After arduous investigation and struggle, they discovered that the mastermind behind the scenes was an ambitious politician from Silvermoon City, colluding with evil werewolves to plot a conspiracy. Leonard and Evelyn released evidence, foiled the conspiracy, and the mastermind behind it was punished.

After the crisis was resolved, Evelyn and Leonard decided to leave Silvermoon City and go to the outside world, hoping to promote peaceful coexistence between werewolves and humans through their own experiences. When they left, the people of Silver Moon City bid them farewell and embarked on a hopeful new journey facing the sunrise.

Chapter 1: Moonlit Night Encounter
Chapter 1: Moonlit Night Encounter 1. Night in Silvermoon City The night of Silver Moon City was always full of mystery and charm. The city lights flickered in the night, dotting this modern city like stars. The skyscrapers in the center of the city are brightly lit, and neon lights intertwine colorful shadows, while the old castle in the suburbs looks solemn and mysterious under the moonlight. Evelyn Gray walked out of the Silvermoon City Police Department's building and let out a long sigh of relief. This day's work was finally over, and she felt a little tired, but inside she was filled with a sense of accomplishment. As a young forensic pathologist, she had just completed the autopsy of a complicated case, providing the police with key clues. “Eve, working late again today?” Emily Rose poked her head out from the door of the police station and said to Evelyn with a smile. “I can't help it, this case is too complicated, I have to make sure every detail is accurate.” Evelyn responded with a slight smile. Emily was Evelyn's best friend in the police department, the two were of similar age and had compatible personalities. Emily was always energetic, while Evelyn was more calm and collected. “Then be careful, don't have any accidents on the way.” Emily admonished. “Don't worry, I'll be fine.” Evelyn nodded and turned towards her car. Although the night in Silvermoon City was beautiful, it also hid some unknown dangers. Evelyn knew this, but she wasn't afraid. As a forensic scientist, she was used to facing all sorts of complications. Evelyn started the car and drove slowly down the street. She lived on the outskirts of the city, where it was relatively quiet and suitable for her to relax. However, just as she was about to reach the intersection near her home, she suddenly heard a rush of footsteps. She subconsciously slammed on the brakes and looked around warily. The street was empty, with only the dim streetlights casting long shadows. Evelyn was just about to continue driving when she saw a figure rush out of the darkness, heading straight for her car. “Look out!” Evelyn reacted instinctively and turned the steering wheel violently to avoid the incoming figure. But she didn't notice that another figure appeared behind the car, and that person was holding a sharp dagger, stabbing towards her car window. Evelyn felt a sharp pain as the dagger cut through her arm. She gritted her teeth and tried to stay awake. She knew that she had to get away from these thugs as soon as possible. She quickly opened the car door and jumped out, trying to flee the scene. However, the thugs were in hot pursuit, and Evelyn felt her strength draining away rapidly. Just when she thought she couldn't escape, a figure suddenly rushed out of the darkness and blocked her. “Don't come over!” That figure let out a low warning, with an unquestionable majesty in his voice. The thugs seemed stunned and stopped in their tracks. Evelyn took the opportunity to duck aside and watch in shock at what was happening in front of her. The figure stood in the moonlight, looking tall and majestic. His face looked cold in the moonlight, and there was a hint of wildness in his deep blue eyes. “Who are you?” Evelyn asked in a low voice, a hint of trembling in her voice. The figure didn't answer, just looked at the thugs coldly. His eyes revealed an intense murderous aura that made the thugs shiver. “Move!” The figure suddenly bellowed, his voice carrying an unquestionable command. The thugs seemed to be stunned and turned around to flee the scene. Only then did that figure turn around and look at Evelyn. “Are you alright?” His voice was low and gentle, a stark contrast to the majesty of a moment ago. Evelyn nodded, not wanting to look weak in front of a stranger despite the fact that her arm was still bleeding. “Thank you.” She whispered. The figure nodded slightly and said nothing more. He turned towards the shadows and seemed ready to leave. “Wait!” Evelyn suddenly shouted, “What's your name?” The figure stopped in its tracks and turned to look at her with a deep gaze. “Leonard Wolfe.” His voice was low and strong, “Remember my name, Evelyn Gray.” With that said, he turned and disappeared into the night, leaving Evelyn standing alone, her mind filled with doubt and curiosity. 2. Strange Murder The next morning, Evelyn came to the police station on time. Her arm was bandaged, but it didn't affect her work. She walked into the office and saw that Emily was already there waiting for her. “Eve, are you okay?” Emily saw the bandage on Evelyn's arm and immediately asked with concern. “It's fine, just a scratch.” Evelyn smiled weakly, trying to hide her exhaustion. “What exactly did you encounter last night?” Emily pressed. Evelyn hesitated for a moment before finally deciding to tell Emily what happened. She knew that Emily was her most trusted friend and that she needed someone to talk to. “Last night, I was attacked by two thugs.” Evelyn whispered, “They had daggers and tried to rob me. Luckily, one of them saved me.” “Who saved you?” Emily asked curiously. “His name is Leonard Wolfe.” Evelyn said, “He seemed mysterious, but I could sense that he wasn't a bad person.” “The name Leonard Wolfe ...... sounds familiar.” Emily frowned, “Wait, I remember! Isn't he the heir to the Wolfe Group?” “The Wolfe Group?” Evelyn was a bit surprised, “You mean that biggest corporation in Silvermoon City?” “That's right.” Emily nodded, “The heir of the Wolfe Group, Leonard Wolfe. He's the man of the hour in Silvermoon City, and it's said that he's not only smart, but he's also very charismatic.” “It seems that I met an uncomplicated person last night.” Evelyn smiled faintly, her impression of Leonard deepening in her heart. “Eve, it's good that you're okay.” Emily patted Evelyn's shoulder, “Don't walk alone at night in the future, it's too dangerous.” “I know.” Evelyn nodded, but in her heart, she was thinking that if Leonard hadn't appeared in time, she might have really been in danger. Just then, the chief of the police department walked in, interrupting their conversation. “Evelyn, come here for a moment.” The chief said seriously. Evelyn followed the chief into his office. The Chief had a hint of seriousness on his face, which made Evelyn feel a little uneasy. “Director, what's wrong?” Evelyn asked. “We just received a bizarre murder case.” The Director said, “The deceased was a young woman, and the body was found with multiple strange wounds.” “Strange wounds?” Evelyn frowned, “What kind of wounds?” “It looked like some kind of animal bite.” The Director said, “But the initial examination by the forensic pathologist revealed that the wounds didn't look like they were made by an ordinary animal.” “Let me go take a look.” Evelyn said, “Maybe I can find some clues.” The Director nodded and brought Evelyn to the crime scene. The crime scene was located in an upscale neighborhood in Silvermoon City, and the deceased was a young woman named Lily Thompson. Her body was found lying in the living room of her house with multiple strange wounds. Evelyn examined the body closely and realized that the wounds were very strange indeed. The edges of the wounds took on an irregular shape, as if they had been bitten by some kind of sharp teeth. Moreover, there were some strange marks around the wounds, like claw marks. “These wounds ......,” Evelyn whispered, ”look like they were made by some kind of animal, but they don't look like ordinary animals.” “What did you find?” The Director asked. “The wounds are very strange in shape and depth.” Evelyn said, “I need to take them back to the lab for further examination.” The Director nodded and allowed Evelyn to take the body back to the police department's lab. After Evelyn returned to the lab, she immediately began a detailed examination of the corpse. She found that not only were the wounds strangely shaped, but there were also some strange tissue residues inside the wounds. “These tissues ......,” Evelyn whispered, ”look like the saliva of some kind of animal, but they don't look like ordinary animals.” She sent the tissue samples off for DNA testing, hoping to find some clues. 3. the mysterious leonard While Evelyn was busy, Leonard Wolfe was taking care of business in the Wolfe Group's headquarters building. His office was located on the top floor of the building, and through the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, he could overlook the entire Silvermoon City. Leonard was sitting in front of his desk, holding a document in his hands, but his mind was not on it. His mind kept recalling the scene of saving Evelyn last night. “Evelyn Gray ......,” Leonard whispered, ”that's a name I'll definitely remember.” He stood up and walked over to the window, looking out at the night scene. The nights in Silvermoon City were always full of mystery and charm, and he, as the young leader of the werewolf pack, had to be on his guard at all times. “Young Master, what are you thinking about?” A voice came from behind him. Leonard turned around and saw Alex Wolfe standing in the doorway. Alex was his brother and the vice president of the Wolfe Group. “Nothing, just thinking about last night.” Leonard said. “Last night?” Alex frowned, “Didn't you go to that charity dinner last night?” “Yeah, but I left in the middle of it.” Leonard said, “I sensed an unusual aura and followed that.” “And?” Alex asked curiously. “I met a girl.” Leonard said, “Her name is Evelyn Gray and she's a forensic scientist.” “A medical examiner?” Alex smiled slightly, “It seems you're becoming more interested in the human world.” “I'm just trying to protect her.” Leonard said, “She has a very special aura about her that I feel a strong attraction to.” “Are you sure she's not a bad person?” Alex asked. “I'm sure.” Leonard nodded, “She's a very kind girl and she has a very special profession. She might be able to help us.” “Well, I trust your judgment.” Alex said, “But you have to be careful too. Our identity can't be easily exposed.” “I know.” Leonard nodded, “I'll be careful.” Just then, Leonard's cell phone rang. He picked up the phone and after hearing the other party's voice, his face suddenly became serious. “What? Someone died?” Leonard whispered, “Where?” “In an upscale neighborhood in Silvermoon City.” The other party said, “The deceased is a young woman with multiple strange wounds.” “I know, I'll go take a look.” Leonard hung up the phone and turned to Alex, “Someone is dead and the deceased has strange wounds. I suspect it might have something to do with us.” “Related to us?” Alex frowned, “You mean it could be the work of a werewolf?” “I don't know.” Leonard said, “But I feel the need to check it out.” “Alright, I'll go with you.” Alex said. Leonard and Alex quickly left the Wolfe Group's headquarters building and drove to the scene of the crime. 4 Meeting again When Leonard and Alex arrived at the crime scene, the police department was already busy there. Leonard couldn't help but feel a little nervous when he saw that Evelyn was talking to the chief. “Young Master, what should we do?” Alex asked in a low voice. “We'll see what happens first.” Leonard said, “I'll step in and explain if necessary.” They crept closer to the crime scene and hid to observe. Evelyn was scrutinizing the body, her expression very focused. “These wounds ......,” Evelyn whispered, ”look like they were made by some kind of animal, but they don't look like ordinary animals.” “Evelyn, what did you find?” The Director asked. “The wounds are very strange in shape and depth.” Evelyn said, “I need to take them back to the lab for further examination.” The Director nodded and let Evelyn take the body back to the police station's lab. Leonard couldn't help but feel a little lost in his heart as he saw Evelyn leave the scene. He knew he had to find the truth as soon as possible, otherwise Evelyn might be in danger. “Young Master, what should we do?” Alex asked in a low voice. “We'll go back first.” Leonard said, “I'll ask the clan elders to help investigate.” They quickly left the crime scene and returned to the Wolfe Group's headquarters building. Leonard immediately contacted the elders of the Wolfe Group and told them about the situation. “Young Master, do you think this could be the work of the werewolves?” An elder asked. “I don't know.” Leonard said, “But I feel the need to investigate. If the werewolf really did it, we must find him and stop him from continuing his crimes.” “Alright, we'll help investigate.” The elders said. Leonard nodded, his heart filled with worry. He knew that if this matter was really related to the werewolves, then the werewolf pack might face a huge crisis. 5 Clues and conflicts After Evelyn returned to the police station's laboratory, she immediately began to conduct a detailed examination of the corpse. “Eve, did you find anything?” Emily asked curiously as she walked into the lab and saw Evelyn busy. “These wounds are very strange.” Evelyn said, “I suspect it might be related to some kind of animal, but it doesn't look like an ordinary animal.” “Have you ever thought that it might have been a werewolf?” Emily whispered. “A werewolf?” Evelyn frowned, “You mean, that legendary creature?” “Legends of werewolves have been circulating in Silvermoon City.” Emily said, “It is said that werewolves will transform on the night of the full moon and possess great strength and speed.” “Do you think this could be the work of a werewolf?” Evelyn asked. “I was just thinking that if this really is the work of werewolves, then we might need to find help from the werewolf pack.” Emily said. “A werewolf pack?” Evelyn smiled slightly, “Do you think they really exist?” “I don't know.” Emily shrugged, “But I think we might want to look into it.” Evelyn nodded, feeling some sense in her heart as well. She decided to investigate the werewolf legends in Silvermoon City to see if she could find some clues. Just then, the Chief walked in and interrupted their conversation. “Evelyn, come here for a moment.” The Director said seriously. Evelyn followed the Director into his office. The Director had a hint of seriousness on his face, which made Evelyn feel a little uneasy. “Director, what's wrong?” Evelyn asked. “We just received a message.” The Director said, “Someone witnessed a suspicious person appearing near the crime scene.” “A suspicious person?” Evelyn frowned, “What kind of person?” “Witnesses said the man looked tall, wore a black trench coat and a black hat.” The Director said, “He looked mysterious and moved very quickly.” “That description ......” Evelyn whispered, ”sounds a bit like Leonard Wolfe.” “Leonard Wolfe?” The Director frowned Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
