Damien awoke to the castle abuzz with activities. More survivors have arrived, the staff prepared many meals and provided some other necessities and items for the bedraggled folks. The reserve troops have all been called into the castle to help protect and help train the refugees in battle and defense training. The women and children not able to learn combat skills were recruited to help in the kitchen, laundry, and child care.
Tradesmen and tradeswomen were called to help with crafting goods and weapons. Those interested in apprenticeship were learning a new trade and skill.
Damien was always pleased with the kinship of his pack. The border folks have really impressed him with their willingness to help with preparing for the upcoming battles with the rogues and the humans.
