The hidden truth

It was around 1am in the morning as i waited for my show it was called 'when night falls' i sat on the couch eating popcorn and twisting the remote this has been a routine ever since we had moved here its a small town honestly news travels fast but not that fast. My dad and mom work late at night and early in the morning, so most of the time, im home alone. Do not think im complaining. Not at all. i actually like being home alone, but its just that sometimes u want that love from ur parents the thought that they still care for u. Okay enough about boring u the reader; a week after we had moved to woodlands town i met a girl Hannah it tuned out we had alot incommen her mother and father loved me aswell i felt like thier child whenever i was alone with no one and i did not want to be on my own at my house i go over to her house. As my show starts, i looked at the screen. As i was about to take another bite of popcorn, i stared down at the bowl, realizing i had already finished it all. A sigh left my mouth as i sat on the couch. i looked at the time as i took the blanket and threw it over me and watched my show. An hour or two later, i looked at the time on my phone as it was already 3am in the morning. yeez, time really does fly. When ur distracted, i turned off the television and the lights and stood up, going to my room on the left corner of the hall. My bed lamp is still on as i climbed into my bed. If im gonna be completely honest with you, the exact moment my head touched my pillow, i was completely out like a lamp. The exact moment i fell asleep, i heard sirens spreading down the road even though i didn't pay much attention to it. The next morning, around 5 a.m., i was awakened by loud knocks on the front door. i climbed out the bed, half asleep as i opened the door and saw Hannah, my best friend. She was covered in blood, my eyes widely opened as i suddenly became fully awake. i immediately took her inside as the question lingered in my head. What had happened? Closing the door behind myself i looked at her shaken blood covered body i took her to the living room as i asked her questions but every awnser was the exact same, i dont want to talk about it or nothing happened another awnser of hers has been that i dont want to bother you. Every single time, my heart would feel hurt. After all, i know that she's lying to me. Yet i also know that it won't help to continue pushing for answers that u won't be able to get. So i just converted her and held her close to my chest, whispering words in her ear, letting her know that i was there for her. Just then, another knock Eccoed out on the front door. As i looked over to her, she looked even more frightened, begging me to hide her and not to open the door. I stared confused as i told her to hide and walked to the door and opened it, still confused as to what's going on. A looked up at the female officer as i asked,'Can i help u ma'am?' The officer looked at me and introduced herself as Officer Irene as she awnserd me, saying,'i only have a couple of questions for u?are u comfortable to answer them?' I nodded my head wondering what this has to do with my best friend and why shes so shaken up and covered in blood officer Irene took out a pen and note pad as she asken me questions but the once that stuck with me was these questions. 'When was the last time u saw Hannah has she come to u?' I lied saying no, she had not come to me and that i haven't seen her since last week.'Has there been any conflict between her and her dad?' And again the thought of whats going on came into my mind again because i had never heard her and her dad fight they were always so close as i awnserd the words slipping out that i had not even noticed i said that. Once the officer left i closed the door and motion hannha to come out from hiding my hand on my hip as i stared at her now the question leaving my mouth with out noticing what the hell is going on girl why was officer Irene looking for u? What did u do, Hannah?
