Fated to the Alpha King

Chapter 2

Reyla

As we walked into the party everyone turned to look at us. I kept looking forward as we walked to the table where our families sat. As Werewolves we shift at 17 and we're able to find our mates by the age of 20. My father was standing in front of the table talking with someone. We reached the table and I let go of their hands.

"Reyla!" my father said excitedly as I approached.

"Hey Dad." I say.

"Reyla this is Alpha Anthony. He is the new Alpha King." He says introducing him to me.

The man my father introduced me to was 6'4" tall, his eyes shone like golden honey, his hair is a chocolate brown and curly. His skin is a gorgeous olive tone. There was something about him that I couldn't put my finger on.

"Your Majesty, thank you for coming to my birthday party. I am truly honored." I say as I curtsy.

"The honor is all mine." Alpha Anthony said. "Please don't curtsy."

I stood up and started to mingle with the other guests. "I feel drawn to him I don't understand why. From the looks of it he hasn't stopped looking at us since we walked away." Alexis said.

I smiled knowing that he has been stealing glances at me all evening. After about an hour of mingling dinner was served my favorite pot roast. After everyone had eaten my father stood up.

"My daughter is an amazing person. After careful thought and consideration and upon hearing that my daughter is infact an Alpha Female. We have all decided that Reyla will be leaving tomorrow for Alpha training." He said. "She has also chosen Robin to be her Beta and Matt as her Gamma."

The dining hall erupted in cheers.

After dinner was served there was music and dancing. I danced with Robin and Matt for most of the night. After a few hours of dancing with my friends and some future Alphas I decided it was time to go to bed. I'm leaving before dawn for Alpha training. I walk over to my father who is talking to Alpha Anthony again.

"Well Dad, it's getting late. I need to get to bed. It will take me almost all day to get to the compound." I say and give him a hug. " Alpha Anthony it was a true pleasure to meet you."

"Alright sweetheart. You have a good night." My father says and kisses my forehead.

"The pleasure was mine. Thank you for having me this evening." Alpha Anthony said smiling.

I walked around the ballroom looking for my mom. I walked over to her and some of the other Luna's. I bid them all good night and headed to my room. My stuff was packed and ready to go. I took a quick shower and it was almost midnight when I got into bed.

My alarm went off at 4 am. By 4:30 I had my bags in my 1967 candy blue Camaro with royal purple flames. By 5 am I was driving over the pack border. I will miss my home but I have a feeling that I will be back sooner than my family thinks.

ANTHONY POV

It's a brisk November afternoon I had been in meetings and conference calls all morning. I turned 20 years old 4 months ago. I am starting to go around to all the packs in the kingdom to see if I can find my mate.

I am starting tonight with the Silver Moon Pack. The Alpha's daughter turned 17 today. It takes about an hour to get to Silver Moon from the palace.

I work on paper work for a few more hours before I go get ready.

I walked out the door by 7 and was pulling in front of the Silver Moon Pack house by 8. Alpha Christian and his Luna were outside greeting the guests.

When I reach them they both bow. "Alpha Anthony what a pleasure it is to have you attend my daughter's birthday party. " Alpha Christian says.

"The pleasure is mine Alpha Christian. As you know I turned 20 recently and I will be traveling to all the packs in search of my mate." I say as my wolf Anton paces back and forth.

"What's going on with you tonight?" I ask my wolf.

The faint scent of coffee surrounds the entire pack house.

"Well I hope you find the Luna Queen soon, your majesty. For now please enjoy the party." Luna Jocelyn said.

I nodded at them and went inside. After about ten minutes everyone was in the ballroom and Alpha Christian and his Luna were walking up to the table.

"Alpha Anthony I would be honored if you would sit at the table with my mate and I." Alpha Christian said.

I was about to respond when the doors to the ballroom opened and the faint scent of coffee filled the room. I saw a beautiful woman with beautiful red hair and emerald eyes walking towards us with two others. When they approached the table the other two went off to find their families. I'm guessing they're the kids of the beta and gamma. The woman with red hair walked out way.

"Reyla!" Alpha Christian exclaimed.

"Hey dad." She said.

"Reyla this is Alpha Anthony. He is the new Alpha King." He says introducing me.

I watch her look me over for a minute and I can't help but smile.

"Your Magisty, thank you for coming to my birthday party. I am truly honored." She says as she curtsies.

"The honor is all mine." I said. "Please don't curtsy."

I watch her stand up and go mingle with the other guests. I walk around the room and mingle. I keep stealing glances at the alphas daughter.

"Is she our mate Anton?" I ask my wolf.

"Well as an alpha of royal blood it's possible we can sense her but we will have to wait until she turns 20 to see if she senses us." he says back to me.

After everyone had eaten Alpha Christian stood up.

"My daughter is an amazing person. After careful thought and consideration and upon hearing that my daughter is infact an Alpha Female. We have all decided that Reyla will be leaving tomorrow for Alpha training." He said. "She has also chosen Robin to be her Beta and Matt as her Gamma."

After dinner I watched her dance with her friends and a few future Alphas. Every time another male touched her my wolf would growl.

After a few hours I walked back to Alpha Christian.

"Alpha Christian I would like to thank you for having me over this evening. However it is getting late and I have to get back to the palace." I say as Reyla walks over.

"Well Dad, it's getting late. I need to get to bed. It will take me almost all day to get to the compound." She says and gives him a hug. " Alpha Anthony it was a true pleasure to meet you."

"Alright sweetheart. You have a good night." Her father says and kisses her forehead.

"The pleasure was mine. Thank you for having me this evening." I said smiling.

With a nod to Alpha Christian I walk out of the pack house and to my car. It's already around 11:30, by 12:30 I pull up to the palace and head for my room. I take a shower and I get into bed. I fall asleep as soon as my head hits my pillow and I dream about the alphas daughter.
