Fated to the Alpha King

Reyla My name is Reyla, for the moment I am Sixteen. My seventeenth birthday is tomorrow, but my first shift is in a couple of hours. I was excited to receive my wolf. I am the only daughter of Alpha Christian and Luna Jocelyn of the Silver Moon Pack. There was a knock at my bedroom door. "Come in." I called from my bed. It was around 11:30. "Are you excited for your first shift?" My mother asked me. "Yea mom, is dad going to the clearing already or are we going together?" I asked. "Your father got called away for a pack emergency." She said looking at her feet. "It's ok mom. Why don't we go ahead and head out it's almost time for my shift." I said hiding my disappointment. We left the house out the back door and headed for the woods that surrounded the Silver moon pack. It took us about 20 minutes to walk to the clearing. I looked at my phone and saw that it was five minutes to midnight and decided to get undressed. Once it hit midnight I heard an unfamiliar voice. "Hey there my name is Alexis, are you ready to shift?" She asked me. "How do I shift into you?" I asked her. "Just imagine that you are a wolf and I will do the rest." She told me. I sat there in the clearing under a full moon. I pictured myself as a wolf. My bones started to break and rearrange themselves. it was excruciatingly painful. I'm not sure how long I took to fully shift but once I did I stood on my paws I looked at my mother and her mouth was hanging open. " Alexis why is she staring at us like that?" I asked her. "Because we are an Alpha Female. We are probably around the same size as your father. Plus we are special. Go look at our reflection in the pond." She says. I walk over to the pond to look at my reflection. We're a snow white wolf, which is incredibly rare. Add to that that we are an Alpha. She was right we were probably around the size of my dad's wolf. After about an hour I had successfully shifted back to my human body. I dressed and walked over to my mom. "Mom why did you just stand there and not say anything?" I asked her. "I'm sorry sweetie. I wasn't expecting you to have a white wolf, and on top of that there is the fact that I think your wolf might be bigger than your father's." She said honestly. "It's ok mom, let's go home and get some sleep. My wolf's name is Alexis and she told me that we are an Alpha Female she also said we were special." I said. "Well that would definitely explain a lot. " She said chuckling. "We need to get a few hours of sleep we have your party this evening and all the Alphas are coming to meet you." "Ok mom" I said with a sigh. There was no changing her mind and I knew better than to cause a scene. After we got back home I headed straight for my room. I checked my phone and saw several texts from my best friends Robin and Matt. Robin is the daughter of our Beta and Matt is the son of the Gamma. It was almost 3 a.m. I texted both of them and said thanks for the birthday wishes and I would talk to them later. I climbed into my bed and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a light. I woke up next day by very loud voices in my room, next thing I know my curtains are being towed open and the sun is shining right in my face. "Wakey wakey" came the sing-song voice of Robin. "It's too early"I said groaning half asleep. "no it's not. it's 2:00 in the afternoon" Matt said. "And besides your father's the one who told us to wake you up." I groaned as I crawled out of bed and headed straight for my shower. I open the door and say to my friends. "I'll meet you downstairs in 20 minutes let me wake up and take a shower we'll meet in the kitchen." I closed the door as I heard their okays and my bedroom door close on their way out. after my shower I felt refreshed and awake. I couldn't wait to show my friends and my father my wolf and see their reactions. I ran downstairs to the kitchen to see Matt and Robin sitting at the island cups of tea in their hands and a coffee sitting next to them probably for me. I sit down and take a sip of the coffee. "you guys want to go for a run after I finish my coffee?" I asked them Just as they were about to answer I get a mind link from my dad. "If you're awake will you come by my office I would like to wish my daughter a happy birthday." "Sure Dad." I reply almost instantly. "Sorry guys I got to see Dad first then we can go for a run" I said finishing my coffee "I'll meet you in the woods behind the pack house in 20 minutes?" "Okay see you then." Robin said I headed to my dad's office and knocked on the door. "Come in." He said and a smile broke across his face as I opened the door and walked in. "hey Dad, you wanted to talk to me real quick I'm supposed to go on a run with Robin and Matt." I said. "Your mother tells me that you are an alpha female. Your mother and I have been talking and we think that you should go for Alpha training. You would be gone for 3 years but I have no doubt that you can complete it you're a strong warrior as it is." he says looking at me curiously. "Alpha training? You mean when I complete the training and come back the pack is mine to run? This is the most amazing, incredible, oh my god Dad really? I can't believe this. Absolutely I want to go for training. Robin would be my Beta and Matt would be my Gamma" I squeal and run around his desk to hug him. "One other question. When would I leave?" my father smiled "You will leave first thing in the morning. and yes when you complete Alpha training and return I will step down." He explained. "I also think Robin and Matt would make a good Beta and Gamma." I gave him one last hug before I ran out of the office to meet Robin and Matt by the woods. "I have amazing news to tell you guys." I yelled as I ran up to them. "well don't keep us waiting all day." Robin said. Matt chuckle that waited for me to explain. I told them about Alpha training and them being my gamma and beta and that I would have to leave tomorrow. That's amazing and sucks at the same time." They both said in unison. "It's creepy how you guys do that." I said laughing at them. After I finished explaining I ran off in the woods took off my clothes and shifted for the second time into Alexis. Once I was fully shifted Alexis and I walked out to my friends. "Oh My God" Robin yelled. "Wow you're huge" Matt said. Alexis licked Robin and growled playfully at Matt. Then she nudged them both towards the woods so they could shift and we could run. Once everyone was shifted we ran through the woods are wolves playing with each other after about 2 hours we decided to head back once we were all shifted back and dressed we walked back up to my room to get ready for Alpha training and then the party. Around 7:00 we decided to stop packing my stuff to focus on getting ready for my party. I took a shower and came out of my bathroom to find an emerald green gown on my bed. my mother picked it out for me last month, it matched my eyes perfectly and was a beautiful contrast for my long red hair which was about halfway down my back give or take I'm about 5' 7" tall and I was wearing three inch high heels. I did my hair but left it down. Once I was dressed I headed downstairs to meet Robin and Matt before going into my party. "I don't know if I can do this guys." I said nervously. "We're right here with you." Robin said holding out her hand. "Definitely." Matt said holding out his hand also. I grabbed both of their hands and took a deep breath before nodding to them to open the door. "We got this." Alexis said to me.
