The morning skies were bright and livid, a young man with dark long hair, chisel jaw with a cocky expression on his face sat on his bed holding unto a ring. "Son" An average old man walked in, Andrew stood up placing the ring on his table, he walked with the man until he got to his office, it had been three years since he was made Alpha amidst his brother, Taking care of the activities and members of the pack, he has swore to be a better Alpha just like his father. "We need to talk to you about something" Joel said with his mate, Andrew's mother sitting on the chair with a warm smile on her face. "Okay, what is wrong" he asked taking his seat in front of them, it had been a long time since they had talked to him in a serious manner, it ought to be something very important. "You know that our pack is the strongest pack in west coast and no pack would dare to subdue us" Joel began, Andrew nodded his head in agreement, of course they were the strongest pack and he had fought many battles to keep it that way. "And till now you haven't found your fated mate which might bring up an uproar in the pack" "Okay" Being an Alpha meant that he to have someone by his side and the pack council were growing impatient. "We are willing to accept an alliance from the Shade moon pack, their Alpha is a strong female who we think would be a better match for you and would strengthen this pack much more than ever" "Who are we talking about here" he asked with a raised brow. "Bella, she is not only strong but also beautiful and graceful" Diana his mother added extending a picture of Bella to him, He stared at her face and was intrigued by her, indeed she was beautiful to behold. "Did she come to you herself, and how do we know that she doesn't have a mate" he asked curious, females were quite funny especially when making deals. He had met a variety of them himself and couldn't trust them. "She approached us first and we thought it was a perfect idea thats why we are discussing it with you" Joel replied, he wouldn't present such unreasonable ideas to his son, he had thought everything through perfectly. He had a rule of making no mistakes and that would also apply to his son. "I will have to see her first to know if she really want this" He answered, as much he was already feeling the heat to have her by his side and into his arms, he needed to be sure that he wasn't walking into a pit dug to trap him. "As you wish, she promised to be here in three days or you could go to her" Diana suggested with peaky eyes, she had waited for him to find his mate but that was to no avail, If Bella could make him happy then she was ready to risk it for him. "I will make sure that breakfast is ready" she excused herself and walked away. She could feel that Joel had other things to say to him but not in her presence. "Son, the Silverlake pack had been attacked" Joel informed with a crack in his voice. "By who" "Your brother, each day he grows stronger causing more havoc to other packs and demanding fear and dominance, I have heard that members from other pack's willingly join them to avoid being killed by him and his rogues" Joel groaned with a low and angry tone. Andrew sighed, his brother Zedek had always been a thorn in his flesh since the day he became a rogue, he had killed most of the packs that he had dominion over wasting the life's of the Alphas including, he was relentless and that fact kept crawling under his skin. "We need to train our warriors double time, who know when he would turn around and attack us" Joel said due to his insecurity, because of him, Zedek left the pack and now he was beginning to regret his words. "He wouldn't dare, I will make sure to split his body into half if he tries that, besides it's been three years I am sure he must have already accepted the truth that he can never be Alpha, neither will he be Alpha of this pack. Being a rogue is what suits him better" Andrew sneered with disscontempt. "I am just reminding you, don't let this pack down" Joel cautioned before taking his leave. Andrew threw his book towards the wall in anger, why was his brother causing trouble now, to the point that Joel would be scared of him even after he had made him Alpha. Up until now Zedek seemed to be doing well than him even though he was living a miserable life, a rogue's life which was regarded as the most disgraceful of things about a wolf. "Wherever you are brother, just stay there and never return or else it would be the end of you" He warned in an audible tone, he was ready to fight for his position against Zedek even if it would cost him his life. Being an Alpha was all he dreamed of from birth and no one could take it away from him, not even Zedek.
