Chapter 10

Zedek roamed the woods, his reverie hunting him as he staggered on the grasses. He grazed his elbow on a tree and the wound healed in a matter of seconds, mad at such sight he clawed himself making the wound go deeper, he wanted to feel pain, he wanted to feel much worse than he was already feeling. He hated his brother Andrew for taking his mate away from him but much worse he also hated himself for accepting the rejection.

He wished he hadn't met her then he wouldn't be in so much pain, when he first met her he thought his life would take a drastic turn and he would be happy, he believed that she could change him for the better making him a better person. He wanted to shower her with so much love and show her that he could change just for her, he wanted to protect her and love her but all that was shattered to pieces.

He tried to blame her but he could only blame himself, if he hadn't left his pack then she would be the one running to him for an alliance. Then she wouldn't have a chance to reject him because he would have been an Alpha. He cursed the day he met her, he should have let Levi take her and subdue her pack that way she would have been submissive to him knowing that she had no pack to take care of. No, he couldn't hurt her, he couldn't do that to his mate. He would hate himself for killing off her whole pack but then she did the same to him even after he fought for her. He left his rogues just to be with her so that he could start a new life with her, a life filled with love and happiness.

"Andrew" he thought, his brother had dugged his way into his life once again and taken what belongs to him, he took his title as the Alpha and now he had also taken his mate. His whole family had deserted him and now he was all alone with no one but himself.

Death wasn't an option for him because he had to make his brother pay for what he had done to him, he wished to break him and drown him bringing him down to pieces and burying him five feet below the earth.

He sat on a cliff draining his mind with thoughts, offensive thoughts of how to kill his brother and destroy both packs.

Now that the mate bond had been broken between him and Bella, there was no need to protect her, he promised to wage war on her pack and kill every being, he wouldn't stop there but he would also destroy the Peak moon pack shredding it in blood until he was satisfied then will his revenge be fulfilled.

While he sat he didn't seem to notice a pair of blue eyes walking slowing towards him.

Levi had been rampaging the woods for hours looking for something to eat when he set his eyes on a familiar figure, someone he once looked up to and respected, someone he now hated for taking away what belonged to him.

"Zedek" from his back figure he could tell that he was miserable and something terrible must have happened to him. Now was the time to make him pay for taking Bella from him claiming that she was his mate. His wolf went into stealth mode watching his prey with prying eyes, dropping his paw on the ground without making a sound, he got closer to Zedek and anticipated his attack, his target was his neck giving him a swift kill, he leaped in the air to pounce on him when things took a different turn.

Zedek could hear soft steps behind him, Fenrir was in high alert and changed immediately when he felt he was under attack, he caught Levi's Wolf mid-air and knocked him down, he clawed his eyes plucking one out and stabbed his stomach with his sharp claws, Levi howled but no one could save him. Laying in pain on the ground, Fenrir clawed out every part of his body and he cried out more, Fenrir gave him a slow and painful death venting out his frustration on him. After a few minutes Levi was dead, Fenrir gave a loud and powerful roar, he tried to turn back to Zedek but Zedek refused shutting himself in.

He tried to reach out to him but Zedek was unreachable, he had no choice but to remain in his wolf form roaming the woods for many days, each full moon he became bigger and stronger and was unwilling to change back. His bloodlust increased, the news of a dangerous animal roaming the woods killing everything at sight sent fear to all packs, No dared to enter into the woods in fear of being killed by the beast.

He became a terror to all packs nicknamed the "The beast"

Bella returned to the Peak moon pack with Alpha Andrew, and with haste the coronation day had come, she sat in her dressing room wearing a beautiful white dress showing off her ravaging beauty, some omegas were in the room making her hair and finishing her make up, she gave a slight smile strengthening herself for what she was about to get into.

There was no turning back for her, she had walked into this sacrificing herself for her pack, she gave a deep sigh after they all left her to herself. She thought about Zedek and how violent he had become after the rejection, she was well aware that it was Zedek they referred to as the beast rummaging the woods and causing terror, even at his worst he was still the most feared wolf.

She hated herself for doing that to him but it was either her pack or him and she would willingly choose her pack as she had been taught while growing up, her father had taught her to be selfless and considerate accessing all possibilities before making a decision.

She looked out the window and could see a huge amount of guests, they were cars everywhere, "How many packs did he align with" she thought.

An omega knocked on the door taking her away from her thoughts,

"The event is about to begin" she said.

At a grand hall, Andrew welcomed all his guest with a warm smile, he felt happier than usual having defeated his brother twice he could proudly say to himself that he had done well.

Dressed in a Black suit he stood in front of his father on the Altar, a crown was on the pillow held by the Gamma and a mantle held by the Beta. His father Joel held a silver sword with a tiny jug in his hand.

"Today we are gathered here to witness the coronation ceremony of my son Andrew Joel to be the Alpha of this pack, I appreciate you all for coming out for this ceremony" Joel said in a bold manner making his voice audible enough to the crowd behind Andrew.

"I Andrew Gath accept to be the Alpha of the Peak moon pack promising to fulfill all my duties to the pack and making sure we remain strong as always" Andrew went on his knees while saying his oath.

Joel cut his hand with a silver sword and Andrew didn't flinch, he squeezed his hand and a drop of blood fell into the door, he was given the mantle and a crown was placed on his head.

"I present to you Alpha Andrew of the Peak moon pack" Joel echoed.

Andrew stood tall connecting once more with every member of his pack this time, the connection was much stronger because he had now become an Alpha.

The doors opened and Bella walked towards him not minding the prying eyes on her, a lot of guests were stunned by her beauty and she was proud of herself for woeing them. Andrew wasn't left out as his penetrating gaze was on her, she looked utterly beautiful that he couldn't take his eyes off her, he knew he made a good choice in persuading her to be with him. They looked so much like a perfect match and he was certain that with her by his side, he would achieve great things.

She knelt before the Luna of the pack who held a crown in front of her.

"I Bella Hamil accept to be the Luna of the peak moon pack promising to fulfill my duties while serving the Alpha and the pack" she said in a calm and authoritative tone that sent shiver to the spine of men who were looking at her seductively, she was making her stance that she wasn't to be messed with.

The crown was placed on her head and Alpha Andrew helped her up, he locked her hands in his and smiled at her, she smiled back at him and they faced the congregation.

Outside the event, Blood was spilled everywhere from the gates to the grand hall, the beast had killed everything that stood in his path trying to block him from getting in. Fenrir's red eyes searched for Bella and he found her smiling happily with Andrew.

"Look" he said to Zedek, Zedek opened his eyes and saw her, his mate was with no other man but his brother who he hated with all his life.

Bella began feeling uncomfortable, she could feel someone was watching her but she couldn't find who it was, there were so many eyes on her but one burned her from within making it hard for her to breath.

No one had that effect on her except Zedek, she looked out and saw a pair of red eyes shining brightly, she deepened her gaze and found the biggest wolf she had ever seen that was capable of causing horror to any kid that saw it.

Zedek eyes were pinned on Bella and the wave of emotions swept in again, the pain he thought was lost resurfaced and it hurt him once more, he could still hear her last words to him, they were deeply inprinted in his mind that he couldn't forget it no matter how much he tried.

"Bella" Andrew called her attention, he looked towards where she was looking at and saw nothing.

"This is Alpha Luther of the Blue moon pack" he said.

"Nice to meet you" Bella greeted with her soft voice, Alpha Luther bowed in respect and Andrew took her away, she looked behind her again and Fenrir was gone.

"Are you looking for someone, you keep looking away" Andrew asking noticing how distracted she was.

"I just thought Beta Deon and Gamma Thomas would be here" she covered up hiding her lie even though she knew that they weren't coming.

"I know everything must be hectic for you but you will soon get your rest" he whispered and she gave a slight smile. She had not expected her coronation ceremony to be so grand.

"Don't worry, I am fine as long as I am with you" she replied.

At the Shade moon pack Beta Deon sat with Gamma Thomas in Bella's office which would soon be Beta Deon's in a few days after he claims the Alpha title.

"How does it feel to be Alpha?" Gamma Thomas asked with a smiley face.

"It feels strange, I am not still not happy that she rejected her mate to be with that Alpha" Beta Deon expressed his anger, when he heard of what Bella did, he tried to talk to her but she wouldn't listen to him claiming the deed had already been done.

"That's why we are retaliating and not going to her ceremony right" Gamma Thomas asking slouching on his chair feeling comfortable.

"Yes, she has to know that we are mad at her and are not in support of what she did, Zedek would have been a much better Alpha to the pack than his brother" Beta Deon recollected, he had full faith in Zedek that she could fulfill his duties irrespective of being a rogue.

"It must sting to have his mate taken away by his brother, even I would feel so much pain and resentment towards him" Gamma Thomas stated and they both sighed at the same time. Bella's story was quite sad that they couldn't be expressed with words. They wished she lived happily though they knew she would have been happier with her own mate Zedek.
