"Hello" Nilsa roamed the woods in the cover of the night, after having dinner with the Alpha's family, she ran in search of Zedek hoping to see him again.

"Hello" she said again waiting for a response, her hands were at her back while she played with a branch waiting for him.

Zedek watched her from afar, he wanted to go close to her and hug her but he controlled himself, each time he was with her his desire arose to have her in his arms.

Her petite little figure looked so radiant even in the dark, his eyes were still on her forming smile on his face that he was unconscious of.

Nilsa waited for a while and when she knew he wasn't coming she looked sad, she began walking back when a hand held her back.

In happiness that it was him, she turned to him smiling but his face was serious and calm.

"You came" she leaped grinning her teeth.

"I almost didn't" Zedek answered back with a frown acting as though he went through too much hassle to come back.

"I am just happy that you are here" she beamed with joy, her fondness for him was something she hadn't noticed, she was grinning ear to ear at him but didn't take to heed that she was slowly falling this unknown man.

"Uhmmm" she was lost of what next to say to him, he wasn't a conversation starter because he hadn't said anything to her without she asking or taking the initiative to know.

"You didn't tell me your name?" She asked, her constant smile was slowing melting his heart and his eyes burned.

"Why bother, you might not see me again" he shrugged sounding hurtful, Nilsa's mood dampened and she felt sad about that. She had yearned to see him today but hearing that she won't have to see him again was painful. She wanted to ask why but his face gave it all away,

"Was he disgusted by her" she thought.

"Anytime you feel like coming back I will always be here. My house is over there, don't worry I live alone" she said pointing at her house trying to fake up a smile.

He turned towards her house, it looked more comfortable for her, he wished to ask why she was alone but refused to start a conversation that will bring them closer together.

"How are you doing?" She asked again and he walked away, if she didn't have anything to say to him then He wouldn't waste his time listening to her rant.

"Wait, please don't leave yet. You just came" she pleaded holding his hand.

Zedek quickly retracted it, he felt it, he felt the tingles from their contact but it only reminded him of Bella and the suffocating rejection.

"Don't bother looking for me again, I would never come back" he spat and she froze.

"You know what" he suddenly came back standing in front of her raising her intuition that he wasn't going to leave.

"Why don't you reject me now" he said.

"What?" Nilsa was dumbfounded, what was he taking about.

"To avoid all this unnecessary drama and aftermath, just reject me so that I can live in peace. It might sting but i will recover" he answered in a stern voice, his brows knitted together in a furrow.

"Why should I reject you, how is that done" she looked up to his handsome face that she recently liked.

"Just say, I Nilsa, reject you as my mate and then it is done" he ordered waiting for her to repeat after him.

"I"

"I" she stuttered, Zedek closed his eyes waiting for the impact of the rejection.

"I Nilsa accept you as my mate" she said startling him, he immediately opened his eyes in shock, Fenrir was in high alert he jumped and leaped around in his head.

"What did you say?"

"Why would I reject you when I know that it would hurt you" she slipped her hair behind her ear which was a usual habit of hers that he noticed.

"No, you are supposed to reject me. Is this some sort of play to you" he grabbed her and she winced in pain,

"I told you to reject me not accept me, do you know what you are getting yourself into"

"I don't care, all I know is that I don't want to reject you, I am just beginning to know you" she explained her reason for the change in statement, Zedek was a man that she had just picked up a fancy to and was willing to get to know him better, her feeling were gradually growing for him and she couldn't just shove them off.

"You have to reject me, do you think I want someone like you as a mate, I don't want you. Do you hear me" he lashed out, he was so angry that she wouldn't listen to him and accept him,

so that she could do what, reject him when he had fallen madly in love with her.

A tear fell from her face and on his hand, he slowly let go of her when realization dawned on him.

Nilsa ran back to her house crying loudly, she had just been rejected by a man she was willing to accept.

"This is all your fault" she blamed herself, she should have listened to him and rejected him as he requested but she was too stubborn to do that. She cried on her bed until she slept off.

"What have you done?" Fenrir roared, it didn't sit well with him that his mate was crying and it was all because of them,

"I did what she should have done" Zedek replied watching her window.

"You are a stupid coward do you know that, she had just accepted us and you had to hurt her like that" Fenrir bellowed.

"She didn't know what she was saying"

"Ofcourse she did, I could see it in her eyes that she wants us. Why are you so blinded that you can't see it too" Fenrir answered in low tone.

"Keep quiet, you are just eager to have a mate. I can bet you that by tomorrow she will forget about us and wouldn't want any anything to do with us" he answered with confidence.

"For someone who claimed to not want a mate, you are standing here like a lost puppy watching her window waiting for a glimpse of her. You are more stupid than I thought" Fenrir said and blocked himself from him, he wanted to be with his mate but Zedek was making things tough for them. A minute earlier he was glad that his mate had accepted him but Zedek had to ruin everything because he was still scared.

"p***y" he cursed.

Zedek waited for a longer while but he still didn't see her, he slowly walked away back to his house.
