The Lost Wolf Princess: Claimed by the Alpha King written by Samra Qureshi
The Lost Wolf Princess: Claimed by the Alpha King Chapter 1: The Stranger in the Forest The full moon hung high in the sky, bathing the forest in silver light. Ayesha tightened her shawl around her shoulders as she hurried along the narrow path. The night air was cold, and the distant howl of wolves echoed through the trees. Most people in her village avoided the forest after sunset. Ayesha should have done the same. But her grandmother had fallen ill, and she needed a rare herb that only grew deep within the woods. "I'll be back before midnight," she whispered to herself, trying to ignore the uneasy feeling in her chest. The forest seemed different tonight. Too quiet. Too still. As if something was watching her. Ayesha shook her head and continued walking. She had always been an ordinary girl. At least, that was what she believed. At twenty-two years old, her life was simple. She lived in a small village, helped her family, and dreamed of a future that never seemed to arrive. There was nothing special about her. Or so she thought. A sudden rustling sound stopped her in her tracks. Her heart skipped a beat. "Who's there?" she called out nervously. No answer. Only silence. Then another sound came from behind her. Crunch. Ayesha spun around. Still nothing. The trees swayed gently in the wind. "You're imagining things," she muttered. But before she could take another step, a terrifying growl echoed through the forest. Grrrrrr... The sound sent chills down her spine. Ayesha froze. Slowly, she turned toward the darkness. Two glowing eyes stared back at her. Golden. Predatory. Dangerous. A massive black wolf emerged from the shadows. Ayesha's breath caught in her throat. The creature was larger than any wolf she had ever seen. Its dark fur gleamed beneath the moonlight. Its golden eyes remained fixed on her. For a moment, neither moved. Fear rooted her to the spot. Every instinct screamed at her to run. But her legs refused to obey. The wolf took a step forward. Then another. Ayesha's pulse thundered in her ears. "P-please don't hurt me," she whispered. The wolf stopped. To her surprise, it tilted its head as if it understood her. The strange reaction only confused her more. Another growl echoed through the trees. This time, it came from somewhere else. The black wolf instantly became alert. Its ears flattened. Its body tensed. Suddenly, several wolves burst from the darkness. Their eyes glowed red with hostility. Ayesha gasped. There were too many. The black wolf immediately moved in front of her, placing itself between her and the approaching pack. As if protecting her. The attacking wolves snarled and circled them. A deadly fight seemed inevitable. Ayesha's hands trembled. She didn't understand what was happening. Why would a wild wolf protect her? Before she could think further, the leader of the hostile wolves lunged forward. The black wolf attacked. The forest exploded into chaos. Growls and snarls filled the air. The wolves clashed with terrifying force. Ayesha stumbled backward. Her heart raced as she watched the battle unfold. The black wolf fought with incredible strength. One by one, the attackers were thrown aside. Yet there were too many enemies. Then something unexpected happened. A strange warmth spread through Ayesha's chest. A silver glow appeared beneath the skin of her wrist. Her eyes widened. "What is this?" The glow grew brighter. Brighter. Brighter. Suddenly, a burst of silver light erupted from her body. The entire forest lit up. The attacking wolves immediately retreated, whining in fear. Within seconds, they disappeared into the darkness. Silence returned. Ayesha stared at her hand in shock. The silver light vanished as quickly as it had appeared. "What... was that?" Her breathing became uneven. Nothing made sense anymore. When she looked up, the black wolf was staring at her. Not with fear. Not with aggression. But with recognition. As though it had finally found something it had been searching for. Someone. The wolf slowly approached her. Ayesha should have run. Instead, she remained frozen. The wolf lowered its head and gently touched its nose to her hand. The moment their skin connected, a powerful sensation rushed through her body. Warmth. Comfort. Belonging. Ayesha's heart skipped a beat. And for the first time in her life, she felt an invisible bond connecting her to the mysterious creature before her. A bond neither of them could explain. Far above them, the full moon shone brighter than ever. As if it had been waiting for this moment. As if destiny itself had finally begun. End of Chapter 1. đŸș Will Ayesha discover the truth about her mysterious powers? 👑 Why is the Alpha King searching for her? ⚔ And who is the dark enemy lurking in the shadows?
