Death Of Parents 😞😞
"Excuse me ma'am," we heard someone calling our class teacher who was busy teaching us. "Excuse me students," she said to us and turned to the source of the voice. We also followed her gaze to see who disturbed our class. Today what ma'am explained was so interesting. There a person from management is standing. "Sorry to disturb you ma'am, but there was an emergency call for Avantika from her home," he said and hearing it I got alerted. "What was it?" Ma'am questioned him while I was looking at him out of curiosity. My parents never called in the middle of my school. "They asked to send her home right now. They said it was an emergency and her presence was important," he said and the teacher nodded her head and looked at me. "Pack your bags and leave now," she ordered me and I followed her orders. I walked out of the classroom and then headed to the parking lot where my car was. Yes, I have my own car as dad appointed me a driver. "Uncle, let's go home," I said while hopping into the car. "Ok, did something happen?" He questioned while starting the car. I shrugged my shoulders indicating that I didn't know anything. He drove the car to my mansion while I was thinking what would have happened at home and why they called me In emergency. We reached home and what I never expected was that I was going to face the shock of my life. I didn't expect that from that day my life was going to change. There my parents were lying lifeless. They were covered with white cloth and they looked like they were in a deep sleep. I looked around and there our maids, aunt and uncle were sitting with tears in their eyes. Uncle is the distant relative of dad. They are wearing white clothes. "What happened to mom and dad?" I questioned. "They...sob...left...sob... us... The... were...hiccups...no.. more," aunt managed to say in between her cries. "What? What are you saying? How can this possibly happen? They were totally fit and fine a few hours back. They both sent me to school with a smile on their face," I said. I left my bag at the entrance and walked to them. I sat by dad's side and started calling him. "Da...sob..d.. wake up. See your princess is here. I know you all are joking around but I won't believe your jokes. Wake up dad enough of this acting," I said while stopping my cry. He is not waking up and then I crawled to my mom's side and started calling her, "Mom, atleast open your eyes mom. See dad was playing his games again. You always warn him not to play these types of games with me. Open your eyes mom," I called her. They both were not opening their eyes and their bodies were also ice cold. My aunt came and held me from behind and said, "Avantika, try to understand that they are no more." I sat there holding their hands without uttering a single word. I was looking at them without even batting my eyelids for a second also. After a few minutes his business clients started coming there. They all are coming and keeping garlands on them. I was still unable to process that they are no more. "Avantika, leave their hands, it's time to say goodbye to them," aunt said. "No, no, they can't leave me and go. I won't allow them," I said and they tried to free my grip loose from their bodies. I held them more tightly with my two hands and started crying by saying, "Mom, dad, wake…. up. I know….hiccups...you are...sob...playing games..hiccups... with me. How...can you….both leave... me and...hiccups..go? You..both….pro... mised...me..that..you will...never...leave me then...sob...how...ca...n..you..break...your promise?? Where shall I go? Mom who will make my favourite dishes? Even though we have chefs it's you who always prepared my favorite foods for me. Dad who will play chess with me while motivating me to dream big? Who will be my superhero? Who will be my inspiration?? You know dad I always wanted to be like you. I always wondered how much knowledge you hold on every subject. Sometimes I really doubt that there is anything that you don't know about or anything you can't achieve. You built this life with your hardwork and mom always says those hard working days which you didn't even have food and about the days you went through…. failures as a story to me. She always says how strong you stood for every failure and how calm you were in every up and down. In every thick and thin. She always.. used to tell me to learn from your dad how to stay down to earth nature even after achieving all of your dreams. Mom, who will select dresses for me? Who will make me understand everything so patiently? Who will bear my craziness? Mom, you know I love to spend time with you. I love to hang out with you. When only we both go shopping I love to see you trying different outfits and the days we opted for twinning. You are my best friend mom. I can discuss everything that's happening in my school or life. You even know about all of my secrets which none of my friends or anyone knows. You know mom today only in my school all of my friends are saying I am indeed lucky to have you in my life as my mother. They said having a mother as a best friend was only possible to a few souls and not to everyone. They all even took the cookies and the cake you made for me and even demanded me to get more for them tomorrow. How shall I say them mom? How shall I say that my parents are no more and I was an orphan now? How shall I say them that they won't be able to taste any of your handmade food again?" ********
