Father and Daughter
“Sherry was leaving the hair salon on her way to meet a girlfriend for lunch when her cell phone rang. “Hello?”
“Sherry, this is Mother. I just received a call from your dad’s neighbor. Your dad had a stroke and has been taken to the hospital.”
With shock and panic in her voice, she said, “Mom, which hospital?”
“Our Lady of Grace Memorial”
“I’m on my way.”
Sherry hung up and called her girlfriend to cancel lunch, then her husband George.
“Hello?”
