The Cursed Ring
The night was dark and rainy when Mona returned to her grandmother's old house.
She had inherited it after her grandmother, a kind widow, passed away last month.
The house was silent, but Mona felt like someone was watching her.
In the attic, she found an old wooden box. Inside was a black ring with strange symbols.
A note from her grandmother said: "Do not wear this ring, Mona. It is cursed."
But Mona was curious. She was brave and independent, so she put the ring on her finger.
Instantly, the room became cold. The lights flickered.
Suddenly, a shadow appeared behind her. It was a tall man with cold eyes.
He looked angry, but also sad.
"You shouldn't have done that," he said in a low voice. "Now I am bound to you."
Mona stepped back, scared. "Who... who are you?"
The man, Rayan, stared at her. He was a ghost, trapped by the curse of the ring for 100 years.
He was cold and quiet, but he would now protect her, whether she liked it or not.
Mona didn't know that her life was about to change forever
Mona's heart was beating so fast. She didn't know if Rayan would hurt her or save her.
The cursed ring was now glowing on her finger.
