Sestra was already in the dining room. She too was wearing a similar robe – a djellaba – but hers was a deep indigo colour. It hung loose on her, denying the existence of her curves but I could imagine what the body underneath looked like. She beckoned me to sit down. I felt like a king in such surroundings and the food on the table was certainly such as could be described as a royal feast; fresh gallow eggs, two types of meat – Kallivar and Superino – and assorted exotic vegetables that I’d never seen before in my life. To be honest, it looked far too rich for me. Sestra saw the expression on my face. “You’d rather have your Zima, wouldn’t you?” I was loathe to admit it but, yes, I would be quite happy with Zima.
