Chapter 11 I’d never seen anything like it in my life. The sky was blue – I mean extremely blue – with not a cloud in the sky. At home, in Sector D, we pretty much lived inside a cloud, and in Sector C I could see dark clouds above me, as the rain fluctuated between drizzle and rainstorm. But this...this was incredible. The blue was solid, yet not solid. It’s difficult to explain. But I knew that I wished that I could fly at that moment. I wanted to feel the blue surrounding me. I wanted to be enveloped by that blue. I kind of wished that we’d jumped. And then, when I stopped looking skyward, everything was white.
