As we walked deeper into Sector C, I was quite enjoying the drizzle. It didn’t bother me too much as my clothes were still very damp from the moat crossing, and it was just fun seeing the moisture fall from the sky instead of walking into it. I kept looking up, hardly able to believe that I had to look quite a distance to see the beginning of the clouds. I wanted to share the experience, to tell someone about what I was seeing, but the only person around was Sestra, and she’d seen it all before. We were getting closer to an inhabited area and I could see buildings in the distance. I hadn’t noticed but it was starting to get darker and darker. Sestra grabbed my hand and pulled me towards a small building about 100 metres distant from us. “Come on, Ooze. Hurry – we don’t have much time.”
