The lock clicked.
Zara stared at the door. Her chest hurt.
Footsteps. Slow. Heavy.
The door opened again. Only a little.
Orhaan stood there. No guards. Just him.
He held a tray. Food. Water.
He put it on the floor. Didn’t come in.
“Rule one,” he said. His voice was flat. Cold. “You eat. You sleep. You don’t touch that door.”
Zara hugged her knees. “Or what?”
His eyes lifted. Black. Dangerous. Possessive.
“Or I’ll make sure you never want to.”
He closed the door.

Zara’s tears fell on the cold floor. She cried without sound. Her shoulders shook.
Outside, Orhaan didn’t stop. Didn’t turn back.
To him, it was just another rule. She was alone. Trapped. His prisoner.
And inside that room, Zara learned her first truth.
He didn’t care if she broke. The room was silent after that. Too silent.
The walls felt like they were closing in. The food on the tray went cold. She didn’t touch it.
Outside, the rain hit the glass. Inside, Zara hit her limit. But she didn’t scream. Because Orhaan Khan didn’t care about screams. She was his now, and he would never let her go.
