Chapter 1: Sold to Orhaan Khan
The auction hall was silent. Only the sound of Zara’s own breath filled her ears.
Her hands were tied behind her back. Her father had sold her to clear his gambling debt. Sold… like a piece of furniture at a market.
And the buyer?
Orhaan Khan.
The doors opened and he walked in like a storm. Black three-piece suit. Eyes colder than ice. Half the city feared his name. Mafia CEO. Ruthless. Possessive. The devil himself.
He stopped in front of her and looked at her once. That one look made her blood freeze.
"So, you’re the girl I bought," his voice was low, dangerous, like a threat. "You belong to me now."
Zara lifted her chin, even though her knees were shaking. "I don’t belong to anyone."
Orhaan smirked, dark and cruel. He stepped closer until she could smell his cologne. "You will."
His hand shot out and grabbed her wrist. No mercy. No escape. His grip was iron.
From today, she was not free. From today, she was owned. Owned by Orhaan Khan. Orhaan pulled her toward the exit The guards stepped aside without a word.
Zara tried to pull her hand back, but his grip only tightened. "Where are you taking me?"
"Home," he said without looking at her. "To the cage you’ll never leave."
