Last time: Kitchen me dono ki tez lrai hui. Orhaan ne kaha "door khula hai". Zara ka dil ab bhar chuka tha.
The house was silent.
Orhaan had left for his office an hour ago. "Don’t leave the house," he had said before going. Like she had anywhere to go.
Zara stood by the huge window. Outside was a mansion. Gardens. Gates. Guards.
And beyond that... London.
"I have to try," she whispered.
Her heart was pounding. She grabbed her phone and the little cash she had. No ID. No plan. Just fear and anger.
The back door was open. No guard there.
She ran.
Through the garden, through the gate, into the street. Cold air hit her face. For the first time in days, she felt free.
But London was big. And she was nobody here.
Hours passed. She walked and walked until her feet hurt. The tall buildings, the rush, the noise... everything was strange. She didn’t know where to go.
Night fell.
She ended up on a bench in a quiet, empty street. Streetlights were the only company.
And then it hit her.
She was alone. Completely alone. In a city she didn’t know.
Tears started falling. She hugged herself and cried.
"I did it... I ran away..." she sobbed. "But now what?"
Meanwhile, back at the mansion...
Orhaan came home. The house was empty. Dead silent.
"Zara?" No answer.
He checked every room. Her room. Empty.
His jaw clenched. His eyes went black with rage.
"s**t!" He punched the wall.
He grabbed his phone.
"To all guards," he barked. "That stupid girl ran away. Find her. NOW. Search every street of London. I want her back in this house tonight."
And in that cold, quiet street... Zara kept crying, not knowing that the whole city was looking for her.
