The car doors locked with a click.
Zara stared out the window. London’s night lights blurred past. Rain hit the glass. No one was following. No one was coming for her.
Orhaan sat beside her, silent. His arm rested on the seat behind her head, trapping her without touching. Possessive.
"You said home," she whispered. "Where in London are we going?"
His eyes didn’t move from the road. "To my estate. To the cage you’ll never leave."
The car left the city and stopped at iron gates. They opened. A massive mansion stood in the dark. Guards everywhere.
Orhaan got out and opened her door. "Out."
Zara stepped out into the cold London air, legs shaking. He grabbed her wrist again.
"Rule one," he said, pulling her inside. "You don’t run. You don’t hide. You’re mine."
The door slammed shut behind them. The sound echoed like a lock closing.
Zara’s eyes widened. She looked at the tall walls, the guards, the locked gates outside the window.
This was real. She wasn’t going back. She was trapped.
Her breath hitched. Tears burned her eyes, but she didn’t let them fall.
Because if this was a cage, then Orhaan Khan was her jailer.
