Theo held me as I cried, then he held me as I slept. I slept for what felt like days. When I did wake up it was because someone opened the door very abruptly.
Cal stormed in.
“I had to make sure you guys are okay. Is Samara recovering well? He asked looking at Theo and looking down at me realizing he just woke me up.
“Morning sleepyhead!” He said with a sly smile on his face.
I groaned and rolled over covering myself with the blanket.
“She is doing fine. Anything new?” Theo asked Cal.
“Well, I saw dad talking to Jarred last night. He was walking out of dad’s house. He looked pissed. I think they are definitely the ones who sent the rogues here after you two. An old friend of mine informed me that Jarred has stocks in with dad. Dad’s stocks have dropped and things aren’t working well
