Damian avoided Anna like the plague. When she entered the dining room, he left. When she went upstairs to her room, he slammed his door shut. It was very clear that she would not be able to talk to him. He wouldn't allow her entry to his office, and wouldn't acknowledge her when they crossed paths. She would have to save him herself.
