Chapter 2

AMBRA POV'S

-during the lesson-

He kept staring at me the entire class, and because of that, I couldn't focus.

I decided that at the end of the period I'm going to ask what is his problem with me, but for now, let's try to understand what the teacher is saying. Apparently, it is not the day to be able to follow through class, because as I try to concentrate, my mind pops up with the image of his eyes, and basically and picture of him, and I might say that those messy black hair and those blue eyes are quite captivating. I don't know how is possible but my mind is showing me pictures of him that are not kids friendly. I mean those muscles are quite illegal if you ask me, and the shirt he is wearing it's hugging them and shows them even more.

-what is happening to me? I've never had these kinds of thoughts- I whisper between myself.

In the blink of an eye, the class is over and now it is time for me to confront this (handsome) guy.

I turn and he looks absent-minded, to bring him back and to look bold I snap my fingers in his face, and when he comes back from whatever trip he was taking I speak

- Do you want a picture?-

- what are you talking about? -

- seriously?! You have been staring at me all through the class, don't you have something better to do?! -

I don't know if he was already angry or if I made him that but I'm quite sure his eyes became almost black while we were talking and probably it was just my imagination.

While I was lost in my thoughts I didn't realize he was already walking out.

Hopefully, we don't have any more classes together, but while I walk through my second period that will last till lunch break, I realize I won't be so lucky, in fact, he is sitting right in front of me this time.

When he notices me his smile disappear, and he stops talking with the guys I presume are his friends.

EZRA POV'S

After our mate spoke to us, I couldn't keep Eniach at bay and I know I got pissed and my eyes turned black, I'm quite sure she noticed that, so while she was lost in her thoughts I ran out of that class, just to find here sitting in front of me, and we were going to be like this at least till lunch.

I was talking to my future beta Jason and my future gamma Erik that happen to be also my best friend, we grew up together, but they have already found their mate, and I think that this stupid bond makes them weak. I don't want that.

-but you need that, she is our mate, she is going to be our Luna, she is beautiful, and she won't make un weak-

-how many times do I have to tell you that I don't want a mate? -

-oh but I want one, and remember if you don't do something about it I will step in and claim what is rightfully mine-

- are you threatening me? -

-no I'm warning you, this way you have a choice, or you make a move, and court her or I'll do it-

After this wonderful conversation with Eniach, I can only try to have a conversation with her, or he will step in and that would be a good thing since she is human.

So when the teacher asks us to pair up and work on the assignment for next week I automatically stand up and sit next to her, she obviously looks at me like I'm an alien, so I try to be friendly, after all, I will need to be close to her when the next full moon comes.

-Hi, I know we started things with the wrong foot but I would like to apologize and if you let me I'll be happy to pair with you for the assignment-

After what looks like an eternity to me I hear her voice again and I might say that it sounds amazing.

-OK, I'll pair with you, but don't get the wrong idea out of this, I'm not the kind of girl that sleeps around, so if you are looking for that please leave-

-I think you got the wrong idea from me, I just want to apologize for this morning and do the assignment, nothing more, nothing less-

She thinks about it for a while then she simply says - ok-

What did I get myself into?!

AMBRA POV'S

We spent 4 hours on that assignment but still, we weren't able to finish it. We are supposed to turn it into next week, and because we don't have any more classes together, Ezra had the brilliant idea to finish it after school during this week. Not that I mind it so much, since he is so good looking and I have to admit he is pretty intelligent too. I told him we could have met at his place because I don't want him to see in which state my family lives in, also because he looks so wealthy and my family is a disaster. He made quite an impression, and I don't want to ruin the chances I have. 

- Why don't we meet at your place?-

- I don't think is a good idea, my place is really noisy, we won't be able to focus on the task at hand. Why don't we go to your place?-

- I don't think is a good idea- And because I'm so lost in my mind I forget to give him an explanation or list an alternative.

- So let's make your place then, I'll give you my number, so you can text me the address.-

After I gave him my contact he storms away and I sight knowing I'll have to do my best to keep everything under control.

For lunch, I meet up with Demi and Sasha, and since it's still warm outside we are having a picnic, a lot of students are doing the same.

While we are eating we chat, and we organize our upcoming weekend.

While I was telling the girls we should do a movie night Demi cuts me off saying:

- Girls do you know why that guy over there is staring at us? -

I look in the direction she is pointing and there I found him staring at me even at lunch, by now I think he is a weirdo...

-He is Ezra he is from my English class-

- Do you mind introducing me to him? - Demi asks, but for some unknown reason I don't want that, my friends knowing him doesn't sit right with me... But she is my friend, I can't say no.

-Ok I'll introduce you when the occasion comes-
