There was this girl, the most beautiful in the world, she had all the boys in town wrapped around her finger," my brother happily sang to me over the phone, playfully teasing me.
"Alright, enough of that, brother. I already know that I'm beautiful, you know. No matter what they say, I know I'm beautiful," I confidently replied, still laughing.
"By the way, bro, I'm already at the airport. See you at home. I'll end the phone call now. Bye, love you!"
"Take care, my princess . Alam mo namang napakadelikado dito," babala ng aking kapatid na si Kaiser.
Umirap ako, kailan ba siya mag titiwala na kaya ko?.Wala ba siyang bilib sa sarili niya?, He taught me self-defense but he didn't trust me!.
"Yes, bro. I can handle myself. I have a great tutor, after all. Bye, bro," I said to him with a hint of sweetness before ending the call.
Kinuha ko ang dalawang suitcase ko, baka maiwan ako ng flight ko mapurnada pa ang pag uwi ko sa Pilipinas.
Before I left, I said goodbye to my friends and the professors who were close to me. I felt sorry for my manliligaw's here. Fortunately, they have a kiss souvenir from me and that's the most expensive souvenir.
PHILIPPINES ( Reese Amara's POV )
Finally, I'm home. As I stepped out of the airport, I took a deep breath, feeling the refreshing breeze of the surroundings. It was good to be back. The familiar scent of the tropical air filled my lungs, bringing a sense of comfort and nostalgia.
"Maligayang pagdating, Madame." bati sa akin ng aking driver na may ngiti at respetadong kilos. Maganda na makakita ng kaibigang mukha matapos ang mahabang biyahe.
"Thank you," I replied, returning the smile. "It's good to be back. How have things been while I was away?"
Tumawa ang driver, ang kanyang mga mata ay kumikislap sa kaligayahan. "Everything is fine, Madame. Sa ngayon po ay abala si Sir Kaiser sa pagdating niyo."
I nodded, grateful for the efforts made to assure my return was smooth. "That's great to hear. I'm excited to see everyone again. How's my family?"
The driver's smile widened. " Maayos naman silang lahat, Madame.Everyone is happy that you are back here in the Philippines, lalo na po ang kapatid niyo na si Kaiser. You don't know how happy he was, when he found out you were coming home,Madame." He couldn't remove his smile while saying those words.
A surge of warmth filled my heart at the thought of reuniting with my brother. Kaiser had always been my pillar of support, and I couldn't wait to catch up with him.
"I can't wait to see him," I said, a genuine smile gracing my lips. "He always knows how to comfort me."
The driver nodded in understanding. "Alam kong excited na siyang makita ka, Madame. Siya nga po pala, Is there anything else I can help you with?" Tanong niya.
I glanced around, taking in the familiar sights and sounds of my homeland. "No, thank you. I'm just glad to be home. Let's head straight to the house.
The driver nodded, his eyes reflecting a sense of pride.
"Okay po madame. Maligayang pagdating po uli dito sa Pilipinas . I hope you have a good vacation here with your family."
I hope so.
