Chapter 6 : Tea

"So, what did the doctor told you?" Luiz asked curiously, and settle his elbows in my table.

They we're currently at my office. The three assitants, my secretary, and my stupid friend.

"Hey, dude? What did the doctor told you?" he asked again and grab the paper that Im holding to get my attention.

"I can sense that it was really bad. Am I right?" he added to ask, as he look the upside down paper that he was holding right now.

He just catch me holding the upside down paper and as if Im reading with those.

In fact, Im just holding the paper, showing Im busy while my mind was still lock on what the doctor just said.

"Yes, you're right." I agree to him and grab back the papers and double check if it's in a right portion or if it is upside down. So, I can read the paper.

"Wait, what?" he asked while his forehead got furrowed.

I look to my friend If his responsible with the thoughts Im gonna share.

"Nothing, she just told me to rest." I only said and turn the page in what Im reading right now.

"I don't think so." he unsurely stated and look me with his doubtful eyes.

"By the way, Aurora tell me that she gave you a tie. Where is it?" he asked suddenly and smile sheeply to me as if he was teasing me.

I rose my brow to him. As I remember, when the doctor left the office. I immediately take off the yellow tie she gave, and replace my usual red tie.

"Nothing." I said boredly to him and make him face me fastly with a confusion written on his face.

"Hello, dude? Are you out of your mind? We're here on planet earth. 23rd floor of Johnsons main Corporation building currently at your office, we're talking about where was the tie?" he sarcastically said and added some actions to elaborate more.

"Just, go. Luiz. You see, Im busy." I retorted and massage my temples.

"And why did I just answer him 'nothing'" I ask silently in my mind.

"I told you to freshen up! Let's have some fun! Loosen up all your stress." he persuaded.

"Thank you, but no thanks." I said and review the paper I signed lately with the partnership of Mr. William.

"Tch. Take some rest, it's the first time that your mind seems to corrupt for something." he mumble, but I can hear him.

"Excuse me, Luiz and Mr. Johnsons." someone interrupt and I raise my head to find out she's the one why did I call a psychiatrist.

"The doctor lately suggest to make you a tea. She said it will help to relieve your stress.." she said calmly and laid the tea on the table then I immediately grab the drink and take a sip.

I nod in satisfaction, that it really helps me.

Well, atleast the doctor left her some suggestions to my case.

"Yes, it's about stress not the.." I silently said and immediately shake off my head when I remember what the doctor just said.

Then, I take again a sip and it relieve my mind. I breathe out again in satisfaction.

"... and she added that it can also help you to think wisely about your doubts lately." she politely answer and smile to me.

I unconsciously spit out the tea, she immediately gave me a tissue and I accept that to wipe the small mess in my mouth.

"That's so gross, dude. You really need a help. Bigtime." he stated and look at me teasingly then Aurora chuckles with that.

"This is bad." I silently commented to myself.

I laid the teacup back to the table, and Aurora grab the teacup.

"I'll just get you another tea, Mr. Johnsons." she politely said and bow a little to bid that 'she's going'.

"I don't like tea anymore. Just give me a wine." I command to her and she was hesitant at first but then she give me a nod.

"Copy" she said and smile a little and make her way out of the office.

I heavily laid my back to the chair that sitting and review the paper again.

"Truthfully, I heard what the doctor just said." he suddenly blurted out that make my brow raised.

"No, it can be!" I shout in my mind, and I look at him expressionless while my inner self was shaking in nervous.

I look to my assitants and they immediately nod at make their way out to the office.

"Woah? So, this was a secret." he said and smile sheeply to me. I gave him a look that Im boring to prevent him that 'anything you say was nonsense.'

"The doctor said it was norma to-" he cut his own words when I exclaimed to prevent anything he could possibly say what the doctor just said.

"IT'S NOT NORMAL WHEN YOUR INNER SELF AND MIND FOUGHT AGAINST EACH OTHER FOR A WOMEN I JUST MET!" I shouted those words while my handa was on the table and I didn't know that I unconsciously stand up.

But, I suddenly regret, and start asking myself 'why Im being so dumb?'.

His eyes grew bigger by the sudden revelations, and he point his finger to me while his mouth was gape open from shock.

"Dude, I just want to say that it's normal to people have stress when they were in business. You need to relax." he stated and it make me sit back to the chair and spin myself with the chair in frustration.

"But, I can't believe you just appoint a check up to the psychiatrist because of her." he said and smiling like an i***t when he recovered from his shock state.

"I. did. not. just. appoint. a. check up. because. of. Aurora!" I exclaimed again and he's starting to laugh like a lunatic.

"I didn't even name anyone!" he added teasingly and continue his laugh.

"I hope you will choke up to death!" I silently wish that to my mind.

"It's really not because of her." I darkly said and he didn't mind my tone as he continue to laugh again.

"Oh yeah? I just act, I believe that." he stated and laugh again that make me pissed off.

"Tch. I just check up, because last time my mouth saying some words that opposite on what's on my mind. Then, Im worried. What if I had mental problem?" I reasoned out and take a papers to review.

"It's new to me. So I thought I should seriously take a check up. Then, that's it!" I added to him.

"Ahuh?!" he stated, and grab a couch to seat near in the table.

"Spill it all out now! It's your fault that your tounge slipped off." he added and look at to me teasingly while his one brow raise up to down.

"So that's it. I said that I will pay how much does the medicine can cost! I don't care! Just to get rid of this! It's feel so surreal, Luiz." I explain to him and let my hand brush up to my hair.

But he didn't take my explanation seriously. He just laugh again at the top of his lungs.

"I'll give you an antidote for that." he suddenly suggested and I raise my head to look at him.

"Name the price." I desperately said to him then he just smile a little.

"But I already gave you that one time. Find for yourself." he added and I dont know if he's telling the truth because he's smiling like an i***t again.

"What?" I asked curiously.

"I.Q." he foolishly said and smile again to me. I clench my hands, I am so pissed off.

"I can't believe I got been fooled by the stupid friend of mine." I darkly commented to myself and run my hands up to my hair.

"And I can't believe you just freak out when I say the word normal!" he stated and laugh again while holding his stomach.

"That's it!" I said in my mind when my patience has broken already.

I grab his collar and I was about to punch him bigtime.

We both look to the door, when someone barged in the office.

"Mr. Johnsons, I as-woah wait?! Are you two gonna punch each other?" Aurora asked and her brows met in confusion.

Luiz look at me again and whisper.

"You got one bad impression to her." he whisper teasingly and I push him away as I let him go.

"I am not into her! Okay?!" I frustratedly stated to him and heavily get back to my seat.

"Oh really?" he teasingly added, and I was about to shout back.

"Don't waste your friendship in just one girl." Aurora softly advise to us and make her way to my table and laid another teacup.

"I will take that as a reminder, Aurora." Luiz stated and glance at me teasingly.

"I hope you take that on your mind, Ace." he sarcastically said to me and gave me a look of 'You loose again!'.

"Oops. By the way, I call the doctor if it's okay to you to take a wine. But she recommend to take a tea instead first, to calms your mind." She inform me and she show me again her charming smile.

"Yeah, it helps to calm your heart and mind." Luiz added and dreamingly touch his head and chest then smiling like an i***t to me.

"Thank." I said and stressfully grab the tea.

"Thank god, you came along to my life~" he said in a sing along manner.

I grab my pen and throw to him. Suprisingly, it hit on his forehead. I gave him a success smirk when he glance to me while holding his forehead in small pain.

"FOUL!" he exclaimed and show his famous pouty lips to Aurora.

"It's your fault, Luiz." she softly said and chuckles when she saw Luiz's face was drop.

"Get back to business people!" I announced and my secretary nod a little and glance a smile to Luiz and back to her post.

....

We're currently on the meeting room, to discuss some business matters.

"Meeting adjourned." I stated as an official end of the meeting with Mr. Montefalco.

"I would discuss to the next meeting about of my feedbacks, Mr. Montefalco." I said as we shake our hands

"Sure, I wait for that time. Mr. Johnsons." he seriously stated back.

Then, one by one exit in the meeting room.

"Ms. Davis, bring these papers to my office." I ordered and she politely nodded then smile to me again that makes me change my eyesight into different location.

"Help her, boys." I ordered to my assitants and they nodded politely.

I walk out first in the meeting room and march my way to my office.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Johnsons." the staff stated when I walk pass them. As usual, I didn't greet back.

As I enter to my office, I stressfully laid my back to my chair. Then, they laid the new pile of papers in my table.

I start to review the files wisely, as the time goes by.

"I make you a tea, Mr. Johnsons." she stated and laid the teacup.

"Thank you." I stated to her not looking into her eyes.

"I know I should not enter someone problem. But, it will be a friendly advice." she said and I can sense that she was smiling again.

I take a sip to the tea inside of the teacup, and let the hot liquid runs to my throat. I can feel it reach to my stomach.

Then, I face her and there she her goes with her genuinely smile.

"If your having doubts in your action or in your decision. Think the first thing you think why did you do that in the first place. Then, weigh the possibilities if it is good for you and the people surrounds you. So if its good, go continue doing it." She gently explain to me and show me a smile.

"But, if your doing something bad to someone and it can benefits you. Stop. You may win the first enemy. But, the next greatest enemy was your karma. And you will regret why did you do that in the rest of your life." she stated and look into my eyes and smile.

"I can sense you were a good person, even your face was showing no emotions at all. Your eyes can tell, whether your sad or happy. Grumpy or pissed. Your face shows nothing, but your eyes screams in so much emotions." she gently said while looking directly into my eyes.

What the heck! I can't avoid in watching her eyes. I can cut the eye contest right now. But, I can just can't.

"I want to tell you. Settle the issues between Luiz and you. Don't ruin your friendship in just one girl. Friendship was stronger than relationship with someone. Don't waste the days together with your friend. Settle everything who came first into your life. Then after that, settle the next." she calmly said and smile to me heartily.

"I regret to choose my relationship than to my friend." she said and bitterly smile, as she was recalling her past.

I can take my eyes off away from her, it was so tempting who shown different emotions with those lightly brown eyes.

We really didn't fight for just a girl.

Im just denying the fact.

Because I don't know what and how.

I don't know how things works.

Or what was that.

I just don't know anything about...

The word... Love.
