Meeting In The Pub

“Big brother- what is this place?” Amon ask the very question that Abel also wanted to ask. All they can see are people drinking and eating something with their drinks. “Ah ,this is a pub. A place where only adults go and meet.” Marcus responded as their food and drinks arrived. They ordered some non-alcoholic drinks and a lot of food to eat. At first the girls were dead silent but then one of them started talking and introduced themselves. “I’m not sure if Marcus had already told you our names but I’m Michelle, this is Anna, Perry, Vea, and Nirvana. We told Marcus that we wanted to meet you both but it took a while before he said yes.” The girl with blue eyes introduced herself as Michelle.

               Amon and Abel introduced themselves as well and greets them even thought it was already late. Michelle told them both that they are quite interested in them and not beat around the bush, Amon told them that everything is new to him and is quite new to the land as well so he doesn’t really know the custom about something like that while Abel on the other hand doesn’t have any interest in such things since he already has a lover waiting for him in the shadowlands, their homeland and is only waiting for a proper age to marry.

               “Do you have anything you like or something?” Vea asked Amon who immediately answers her. “Any thing I like? I like strong women, someone I can go all out fighting with.” His answer puts them off in a weird atmosphere since none of the girls are proficient in fighting and does not have confidence is such a thing. Seeing no chance in getting relationship with Amon, they turned to the other hot guy, Abel who immediately stated, “I am ruthless and I like hurting people.” He told them that he is a sadist and instead of backing out, some of them got interested. His words backfired. [Don’t get him wrong though, his is harsh in his words and blunt as well but he is kind overall. His tongue is the only thing that’s sharp.] Marcus thought to himself as he stares at Abel getting a barrage of questions thrown at him.

               Then all of the sudden Michelle started talking to Marcus which was out of his expectation. “I thought you only want to meet them so why talk to me?” Marcus asked but Michelle flash him a smile. “Did you really think that we are only interested in them? I admit that I am quite interested to the two but I am more interested in you. How come you became different than what you used to be? The Marcus I know is a wimpy and weak guy but the way you are now, your breathing is even different as well as the aura that you are releasing is like from a dignified person. Way leagues different than what you used to be. Tell me, how did you change so drastically?” she said with a seducing tone as she expertly caressed Marcus’ hand.

               “That’s rich coming from you. The old you would look a lot different from the you right now. Heck, you don’t even resemble the old you at all.” Marcus said as he moves his hand away from her and calls on to the other two. “Amon, Abel, let’s go. We are done here. You have met them now so it’s okay right?” Marcus said and asked Michelle as the two stand up and get ready to leave. “Don’t worry about the payment. I have already paid earlier so just enjoy yourselves.” Marcus’ last words before leaving the pub completely leaving the girls completely speechless and clueless as to what made them leave so early.

               While walking back, Amon felt a familiar aura and turns back to the alley beside the pub and Marcus asked if there is something wrong but Amon said its nothing. Riri and another girl got out of the alley after sensing that the three have left and after a few moments, the girls that the three met got out of the pub immediately. “So which of those three you like for you to resort to stalking like this?” the other girl ask Riri who immediately shut her up. “What are you talking about? I just happen to pass by here.” She denied the other girl’s claim but the other girl is convinced. “What are you talking about- I am your twin so I would immediately know.” The other is revealed to be her twin sister, Nana. Who is placed a much higher class in the academy and looks at her with interest.

               “I can’t believe that my sister would like someone. So, was it the son of uncle Mark? Well, that man is a good pick. Rumors have it that he was once weak the last time he attended the academy but it looks like he showed them that he can change. Or maybe it’s one of those two in the same class as you. They are the center of rumors in the academy after all though I have not seen them in person I can already tell that they are both different if my loving sister acts like this.” Nana said with smile on her face trying to tease Riri but before she can say anything more, Riri  pinched her ears.

               “What are you talking about? I am just passing by.” Riri insisted.

               Meanwhile

               “Older brother! Explain why you dragged me away like that earlier?!” princess Joanna demanded an explanation but his brother just calmly drinks tea and told his sister to calm down. “Calm down Joanna, you are a perceptive person so I thought you have already seen through their actions earlier but to think that I was wrong.” His angry sister immediately after reminding her what she is capable of. “Can’t you tell that they are trying to evade getting too much attention by acting that they don’t know us? You know very well that getting in trouble involving with us will only bring them trouble and I think that is the thing that they don’t want the most. You are well aware of the things that might come getting involved with us so I don’t think I need to remind you.” Princess Joanna’s clouded mind became clear as her brother explains to her what the case might be and enlightened her.

               “Then we can’t meet them at all?” she asked with a sad tone as looks down on the floor. Her brother flash a smile and chuckles after seeing his sister so powerless even though she is capable of something more. “I can’t believe that you are really that in love. To think that you spent the entire two years in order to meet his level but to end up like that, its rather sad to be honest. I am your brother and I can’t help but get sad for you. Well, that is the life that people like us have to suffer.” His words made her even more miserable but then his next words brighten up her mood.

               “But I did not say that you can’t meet him. Don’t get me wrong, that is the life we have to live if there are other people around us that is always on our backs but its different if no one sees us, I can get their address and we can visit them personally in the house that they live in without people knowing. That way, they won’t have to act like he did earlier.” Prince Japeth told his sister with a smile on his face.

               The other noble’s quarters

               SLAM!

               “How dare he acts like that in front of the princess! I will kill that guy for his actions!” the noble declared as he slams his fist on the table. The other nobles around him had the same opinion and agreed to cooperate with him. “Let’s devise a plan that would certainly take him down without anyone knowing.” The noble added as he stares at the window maliciously.
