Meeting An Old Acquaintance

“Is till can’t believe it. To be the result like that, its unbelievable!”

BAM!

               Marcus slams his hand on their dorm as the other two stares at him blankly, not knowing why would he be pissed so much because of that. “But nevertheless, your actions earlier is quite rash.  Which is not like you Abel.” Abel then apologized again. “I am really sorry for trouble that I caused you young master but I just can’t stand that fool’s mouth.” Amon was about to tell Abel to control his actions in the future but Marcus overtakes him and praise Abel  for his actions.

               “That was awesome what you did back there Abel. That guy is fortunate enough to suffer a small injury like that because if it was me, I wound pound him to dust.” The two then smiled at each other like they are great buddies on the same page. The two of them are assigned on the lowest class where the low evaluated students are in.

               Meanwhile

               “Woah! Is that the prince and the princess? I can’t believe they look really handsome and beautiful in person. And there are nobles following behind them as well like an entourage.” The other students gasp in awe after seeing the numerous and elegant ad well dressed nobles walking towards the auditorium to wait for their results.

               [I really hate this. Why did they have to follow us all the time like our tails?] princess Joanna thought as they entered the room when all of the sudden she felt a familiar aura on the seats near the door and  recognizes the owner of the aura. A smile flashed on her face that something pleasant happened to her for the first time today. She immediately tells her brother who is immediately glad about the news. “Are you sure about that Joanna?” he asked with an enthusiastic expression that surprised all of the other nobles and students looking at them after seeing their pleasant smiles.

               “Yes- I am sure he sat on this chair exactly. To think that our fate will intertwine once again. I am looking forward into seeing him again.” Joanna said with a flustered expression. “Rather than waiting to meet them, why not look for them instead. Its much more faster than to wait don’t you think?” prince Japeth suggested that his sister immediately agreed but then all of the sudden, instructor Brit entered the room with the results on her hand.

               Prince Japeth immediately sees this as an opportunity to know if the persons they are looking for are really there. “Ms. Instructor, may I ask you something?” instructor Brit immediately stops and turns to the prince and nods her head. “Is there a person who got measured earlier named Amon?” the prince’s question gave the instructor a shock as to why the prince knows the people associated with Marcus Saber. Instructor Brit nods her head and confirmed that there is person with that name. A smile then appeared on their faces but then disappeared after telling them that their evaluation results are low so they are placed on the lower class.

               The displease on their faces immediately surface which spooked the instructor. “Huh? That ‘s impossible. There is no way their evaluations are that low. The artifact must be faulty.” Prince Japeth claimed as his sister also agrees and then proceeds to ask where they are but t he instructor has no idea and just tells them that most of the students are headed to the cafeteria. They immediately moved out of the room and  thanked the instructor for the help without listening where they are going to be placed and searched for Amon but to their disappointment, the three was not there.

               “Wow! Is this entire residence ours? I can’t believe we are able to buy something like this.” Amon exclaimed while Marcus swings the keys in his fingers with a smirk. “Hehehe! I asked the head merchant to find us a good place near the academy so that we don’t have to stay in that dormitory and get a place we can train to our hearts content but I did not think that we are able to get a place this huge. Places like this tends to be pricey but it did not even touched our budget that much. Just how much discount did we get?” Marcus is also overwhelmed by the huge residence that can house a hundred people easily but only eight of them are going to live including the butlers and maids that the head merchant hired.

               “Do we still have so much from the money that we made from the recent expeditions?” Abel asked as Marcus nodded. “Yup- we have so much that it makes me guilty to hold this much money even when I am just a kid.” Marcus lets out a bitter laugh. “Well, you are not the only one that feels like that. Since we are out of the academy anyways, why don’t we go out and get something to eat. The pressure earlier got onto me and it made me really hungry.” Marcus gets an idea and drags them both. “Now that you mention it, I know a good place where I used to eat a lot during my time at the academy form the past.” The three then got excited and went out and left some money for the maids and butlers to enjoy for themselves.

               PANT! PANT! PANT! PANT! PANT! PANT! PANT! PANT! PANT!

               “Phew! Why is the prince and princess so fixated in looking for those people?! The instructor even told them that those two are evaluated as low class so why bother with those people?” a noble said as he sits on the nearest marble chair as the princess and the prince walk ahead of them. “Well, I am only here for the princess so I don’t care about anyone else.” Another one said as he wipes the sweat from his face. “Yeah? What if the person they are looking for turns out to be a boy and the princess like him, what will you do?” a young noble girl said with a smile on her face but the other one did not take it nicely.

               “If that’s the case then I will eliminate that threat silently. There is no way I will hand over the princess that easily. I have wasted too much time just to give up like that, I might as well go all out in my efforts than to see myself fail without doing everything I can.” The young noble boy declared with a serious tone. After taking a short rest, they immediately followed back behind the prince and the princess that spent most of their time looking for the three.

               “That tasted really delicious! I never knew roasted pig would taste that great. Now I am wondering how the other store’s food would taste like.” Amon said as he massages his stomach. “Don’t even think about it! I’m almost full to the brim. I don’t think I can get another bite. Who in their right mind would order a whole roasted pig like that? You should just ordered a quarter if you plan to eat something else after!” Marcus complained as he embrace his stomach while Abel stayed silent their entire walk. “Hey Abel, tell him. Tell him that we should stop at that. I don’t want to eat anymore!” but Abel did not say anything and the moment the two of them turned to him. They saw Abel looked sick because of the amount of fat that he eat.

               “This is why you should moderately eat pork, you will get a little sick and dizzy especially if you munched over the fat alone. Well I can’t really blame you, the skin is great and the fat below it is especially delicious so I hope you both learned your lessons- guha! What are you doing Amon?!” Marcus exclaimed right after delivering his lecture only to find Amon carrying three sweets that look appetizing in his eyes.

               “They look delicious so I took the liberty and bought you two some.” Marcus could not even look at the sweet and demanded Amon’s money to stop Amon from buying anything more. Even Abel refused to put more food inside his mouth and threw up in the alley. 

               VOMIT! VOMIT!

               Some adults saw that the three have much on them and went to rob them. “Hey kids, I saw that you have money than you should have. Why don’t you give them all to us?” an adult said that made the three of them look at him with a confused expression. “Eh? When was the last time we felt like this again?” Marcus muttered as Amon continues to munch on the sweet that he bought while Abel continues to vomit on the side but the three of them doesn’t seem to be interested what the adults are on and it irritated them.

               “Are you three deaf?” the adult wants to punch Amon who is just eating his sweets when all of the sudden someone else grabbed the adults fist before it hits Amon. “Can’t you see that they are not interested in the slightest?” a girl in the same age as Marcus said after catching the adult’s fist. Marcus immediately recognizes her voice and turned to her. “Amber?” the girl was surprised and turned only to see Marcus in his pitiful state. “Marcus?” their reunion is short lived when another kid called on to Amber and told her to go and stop stirring up trouble. “Let’s go big sis.” He said with a cold tone and fiercely looks at Amon. “So you are acquaintances huh?-“

               BAM!

               Before the adult could say more, his face gets slammed on the ground immediately making him lose consciousness. “This is what you want right?” Amon said as he continues to eat the sweets. “We did not want to run into trouble but if you adults want I can comply to your demands, fighting that is.” Amon said like a person with authority and made the adults immediately fall back. The younger of the woman that Marcus saw this happened and made him even more angry.

               “There was no need for you to get involved Amber, we are fairly capable of defending ourselves.” Marcus said as he continues to hug his stomach. “Then why are you like that?” She asked and Marcus immediately tells her the reason. “Oh! Is that so. Well, its nice meeting you again. See ya!” she left with her brother as Amon finishes all of the sweets that he bought.

               “That guy looks powerful. He took down the adult in an instant.” Her brother said as they continue to walk. “I know right? For a kid like him that look like your age to effortlessly takes down an adult. That is quite interesting.” She admits with a smile.
