Living with my tutor

Agnihotri Mansion: This is where the main characters Kiara and Atharv Agnihotri live along with their father Shlok Agnihotri. The Parents (Sojal and Shlok Agnihotri) Kiara Atharv ~Finally the chapter starts here: KIARA's POV "Wake up..... . Wake up dearie... Come on hurry up Daisy!" My mom said in a hurry . Mom was leaving for Chicago today and will be living there for at least 12 years as per the new contract she had signed after promotion. So, my dad, my brother and I will be the only people left behind in the house. My dad is a very rich person since he is the CEO of the company but he never lets us spend money on useless things. Me and my brother live the life like a typical middle class family since my mom and dad want us to become successful rather than to enjoy our parents' income. Besides, my dad is a super strict person who never tolerates any sort of indiscipline. He uses different ways to discipline us. However I have never been in enough trouble to face corporal punishments but my brother usually does. My brother is a very sweet guy and loves me alot. Currently, he studies in class 9. . . . "Mom just 5 minutes more...." I said in semi awake state. Oh no Baby. It's time to say final goodbye. I'm leaving now. I'll try to come as soon as possible. Tears came to my eyes on the thought of my mom leaving me alone. "Shlok, take care of the children and please go easy on them. And you two, cooperate with your dad. BYEEEE" my mom said in an emotional tone. When she was leaving I grabbed the hold of her clothes and sticked to them and cried. My father somehow managed me and then my mom left us for 12 bloody years.  . . . "OK kids, your mom has gone now and I suggest both of you to finish with your homework and assignments by 9 P.M. and dinner will be ready by then." Dad said in the most calm voice he had ever used. Then he headed towards his studyroom where he finishes up his Office work. I went to my room but I was not able to concentrate on my studies because still I was not able to come out of the sorrow of my mom leaving us. Next day, I woke up at 500 hrs at the shrill sound of my alarm. Dad asked my brother to take care of me and told him that he'll be back by 2200 hrs today since he had an important business meeting. I got dressed up and left for the school after having breakfast. Today was the first day of school after summer breaks and it really sucks. A lot of changes also occur in our schedule after the summer break. Grade 5 students are provided the info about which club are they given. Whole of the faculty schedules it in the summer break itself and clubs are usually provided as per the interest of the student. . . . Finally I had a break from my thoughts when we reached to school.
