Ch-5 The Club

The next morning:
Kiara's pov
I felt someone shaking me and yelling on me but I was too tired to respond.
"KIARA WHY ARE YOU NOT UP UNTIL NOW"
I tried opening my eyes to see who it was..
It was Atharv... As expected..
And again I fell in deep slumber.
"Kiara Get Up. Do you have any freaking idea what time is now? Its 04:45"
I still did not get up.
"Kiara it's for the last time I'm telling you politely. Get up. Dad has been waiting for you for last 15 minutes and at last he sent me. Come on, Hurry n freshen up. We have to go for jogging!"
"Ok bro! I will be down in 5."
When we were back then I was literally very tired but headed to bathroom to dress up for school.
School~
"Kiara have you brought your project?" Mr Pankaj asked
"Yes Sir. I have..."
"Is it complete or incomplete just like yesterday? Show me." He smirked
I showed him my project and his eyes went wide open. He was stunned.
"Oh My God Kiara! This is so beautiful. How did you make it? I mean it's amazing!!!"
I shied.
"Kiara I was going to give you a -5 for late submission but now... No way. It's so good. Well done. I will send this project for exhibition."
"Go sit down on your seat." I followed
"Btw where's Proksh today? Rahul you are his best friend na! Why is he absent today?"
"Sir he had a fever today. 102 degrees." Rahul replied.
"Oh! I see..." With these words he began teaching.
After a few tormenting lectures, finally my club period came. I was a bit scared and elated too that I will be announced as Vice-Captain today. I hurried to the sports complex since I didn't want to be late on my first day of club.
When I reached there Atharv was already standing in the front and Mr Khurana also called me there. Then he announced that I and Atharv were going to be the club leaders for that year. Atharv gave me some looks and I can tell that he was very surprised to see me there.
"What happened Atharv? Why do you look like you saw a ghost?" Mr K questioned him.
"Nothing sir. I just had not expected Kiara to be here!"
"But Why?"
"Maybe because she is very lazy and S&Y club was her last choice."
"Oh! But I can't help it. Btw do you know her? I mean how do you know she did not want to be here?"
"mAy bE I jUsT rEaD hEr MiNd CoAcH. It cAn Be cLeArLy sEeN oN HeR fAcE."
"Ok! Now I want you to prepare the list of the students who are willing to participate in the coming Athletic Meet. Then we will be conducting the trials. And take Kiara along with you so that she also gets to know how to handle the work." Mr K said and went the other side to address the newcomers.
"Kiara what the hell is this? I mean why..? And how did you even become the vice-captain? What was the need of this? Do you have any freaking idea how troublesome and hilarious task this is..?"
"Calm down Atharv..! Please just Calm down. I did not opt this. It was a chance factor. And when he chose me as the vice-captain, then I just could not deny..."
"Club Leaders, you better stop your useless discussion and get your asses to work." Mr K yelled.
"Yes Coach." Atharv said
Then we started working.
After 1.5 hours of non-stop work, I was tired as hell. Soon it was 3:30 pm and I and Atharv got ready to go home.
We were discussing about our today's day when Mr K approached us.
"Kiara I'm so impressed by you. You did an outstanding job today. You do have good leadership skills just like Atharv. I'm sure that I will not regret my decision to make you the vice-captain. You both are my right hand." Mr K praised me.
"Thanks Sir. I will not let you down."
Atharv's pov
"Okk. Atharv I need to talk to you." Coach told me
"About what Coach?"
"The National Athletic Meet is pre-ponded due to some security reasons. It is now 1 month earlier than what was scheduled. And I have given your names for U-19 200m, U-19 400m, U-19 800m and U-19 4*400m relay race. Along with that you will be doing long jump and triple jump since you have a good height. And you have to stay after school till 7PM. I've already talked to your father about that."
"Yes Coach. But I have a question!"
"Yes please..."
"Coach can Kiara also stay during my practices..? Actually nowadays Dad usually comes home around 2200 hrs and then Kiara will be home all alone and you know she's a small kid. I hope you understand!!!"
"What you just said? U mean she's your sister???"
"Yes Coach. Didn't you get any idea by our last names?"
"You mean like Real Sister?"
"Yes Coach."
"KIARAAAA........" Coach yelled kiara's name in anger
"KIARAAA...."
"What happened Coach? Why are you so angry?"
"KIARAAA come here right now. Where the hell are you....."
