Reine’s POV
“What the f**k is going on?!” I whispered as the situation got tenser and tenser.
“That man basically just challenged the king for his throne.” Odious told me.
My jaw hit the floor hard and my eyeballs almost rolled out of my eyes as soon as I heard him. this was plain stupidity; the man was already half dead and the real battle was yet to begin.
“But how?”
“When he said that King has gotten weak that meant that he indirectly claimed that someone was stronger than him mainly himself. there are certain things you do not say if you don’t want to face the consequences and that man knew it. still, he had an audacity to say it and now he will simply be living the consequences of his actions.”
I cringed with fear and pity for that scrawny man but he brought this upon himself.
