~Noah’s POV~
I knocked on the door twice but didn't get any answer. After waiting outside for a while, I walked inside and looked around but couldn't find her there, maybe she is in the bathroom.
The cold wind kissed my cheeks. I saw the balcony door open and saw my mate standing there lost in her thoughts. She is worried about the outcome of this war.
I hugged her and she instantly relaxed in my warmth. I kissed her head, “Don’t worry baby girl, everything will be fine.”
She sighed, “Noah, it’s difficult to stay calm when I know so many people will be fighting and there are chances that they may get badly injured or even worse they can lose their life. I understand that they are doing this by their own choice but it still hurts to see them joining this death battle.”
