I waited in my office for Serena but it looks like she is having a great time with Kade. I want to call them back but Serena deserves happiness and if she is happy out there, then I should let her be.
“You forget to say ‘she is happy with Kade',” Duke growled.
“I didn’t forget that! I don’t want to think about them being together, don’t remind me!” I barked at him and he went back into my mind.
It’s evening, Serena must have come back. I mind-linked Kade, “Where are you?”
“With Peter, alpha.”
“And where is Serena?”
“I left her with Leah in the living room”
“Ok.”
Finally, their little date ended. I mind-linked Leah, but she didn’t respond. I frowned, she never does this.
