"Here's your money. I hope this is a clean job and I do not have to come back." The man asked as he held the money between them.
"No Ledger,you won't." The bartender smiled at him.
"You know what's going to happen if I find out it is not a clean job right?" Ledger asked once more.
He had been in this business for quite a while now and he always loved making his findings before he paid fully but because this wasn't the first time he was doing business with the man, and the bartender had insisted on full payment, he needed to be reassured.
"This isn't our first time, Ledger. You should trust me. Always." The bartender made a gesture with his head at the money still in Ledger's firm hold.
