Seeing Wes in the bed, so frail, so small… It’s heartbreaking. But it doesn’t end there.
The way he spoke, the way he looked at me… He’s broken physically and mentally. I’ve seen enough Omegas, and even Beta females, after giving birth, and they don’t generally look like they’re about to leave this world behind.
Especially not when, all taken together, the birth was fast, just a few hours, even if they had to help him out a little to let everything go over well. He shouldn’t look like this. And then, hearing about his daughter…
