Chapter Five
AIDEN
After shopping with Felix and Seb all morning, and then carrying boxes with parts for the baby stuff into the apartment, I’m exhausted.
I sit down on the couch as Felix walks around the room with Seb in his arms, giving the boy a bottle. Felix keeps looking down at Seb, his eyes soft, then he looks up and catches me staring at him.
“What?” He grins.
“I never thought you’d be this good with a baby.” I sit up a little, stretching, trying to avoid getting muscle ache tomorrow.
Felix shrugs a little. “There are some people with little kids in my classes. So we often see them during group projects. Did you not have that?”
“We did. I just never knew specifically that you’d be like that.”
