CHAPTER ONE. "A connection with the supernatural"
Alexis always knew that she was different. As a child, she would have visions and premonitions that no one else could understand. She could sense things that others couldn't and had an unexplainable connection to the supernatural world. Despite the fear and confusion this caused, Alexis was fascinated by the paranormal.
As she grew older, her interest in the supernatural only intensified. She spent hours reading books about ghosts, witches, and demons. She frequented occult shops and spent her weekends exploring abandoned buildings, hoping to catch a glimpse of something otherworldly. Her friends thought she was weird, but Alexis couldn't help being drawn to the mysterious and unknown.
Alexis sat in her bedroom, flipping through an old book on supernatural creatures.
She began to read books on demonology and witchcraft, always looking for something new to learn. And the more she learned, the more she felt like there was something different about her. She could sense things that others couldn't, feel the presence of entities that were beyond the physical realm.
It was both exhilarating and terrifying, this connection to the supernatural world. But Alexis couldn't help but feel drawn to it, as if there was something important she was meant to discover.
One night, as she was reading by candlelight, she heard a strange noise coming from outside her window. She got up and walked over, peering out into the darkness. That's when she saw it - a shadowy figure, lurking in the bushes.
Her heart pounding in her chest, Alexis watched as the figure slinked away into the night. She knew what it was - a rogue demon, one of the creatures she had read about in her books. And if there was one rogue demon, there were sure to be more. They were dangerous, unpredictable, and posed a threat to the mortal realm.
Alexis knew she had to do something. She couldn't just sit back and let these creatures wreak havoc on the world. She would need help, though - someone who knew more about the supernatural world than she did. And she woke up from her nightmare. she's had been dreaming about a rogue demon attacking earth but no one will believe her if she tries to tell anyone about her visions. she decided to calm her nerves by talk a stroll down the road. it was 9pm already and the road was dark and quite as a necropolis.
As Alexis continued walking down the dimly lit street, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. She quickened her pace, but her heart was pounding in her chest. She had always been drawn to the supernatural, but this was different. This felt like something out of a nightmare.
Just as she was about to turn a corner, she heard a voice behind her.
"Hello, Alexis."
She whirled around to face the source of the voice, her hand instinctively reaching for the can of pepper spray in her purse. Standing before her was a tall, dark figure. She couldn't make out his features in the darkness, but she could sense the power emanating from him. He had an aura of danger and darkness that both frightened and intrigued her.
"Who are you?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.
The figure stepped closer, and she could now see his face. He was strikingly handsome, with sharp cheekbones and piercing blue eyes. But there was something in those eyes that made her shiver.
"My name is Damien," he said, his voice low and smooth. "I'm here to stop the rogue demons."
Alexis felt a jolt of fear run through her. She had heard stories of rogue demons, creatures that had broken free from the constraints of their realm and were wreaking havoc on the mortal world. She knew they were dangerous, and that the only way to stop them was with powerful magic.
But Damien didn't look like any wizard or witch she had ever met. He looked...otherworldly.
"What are you?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I'm a demon," he said simply.
Alexis took a step back, her mind reeling. A demon? Was she dreaming? But no, this felt too real, too intense.
"How do I know you're telling the truth?" she asked, her voice shaking.
Damien reached out and took her hand, sending shivers down her spine.
"Because you can feel it, can't you?" he said, his eyes locking onto hers. "The connection between us. You're drawn to the supernatural, just like I am. And together, we can stop the rogue demons and save the mortal world."
Alexis felt a wave of conflicting emotions wash over her. Fear, curiosity, fascination, and something else she couldn't quite name.
Could she trust this demon, this stranger who had appeared out of nowhere? Could she really help him stop the rogue demons? Or was she just putting herself in danger?
As she looked into Damien's eyes, she felt a pull, a connection that she couldn't resist. She knew she was taking a risk, but something told her that this was where she was meant to be.
And with that, she took a deep breath, stepped closer to Damien, and said, "Okay, I'm in."
she woke up again, oh, it was also a dream. she had slept back after waking up from her first dream, but this time Alexis couldn't find sleep again as the night is now longer than it should be.
Alexis was lost in thought, lost in the ethereal world she felt so connected to. Her attention was drawn by a loud bang that came from outside her window. She quickly turned her attention to the outside, her curiosity piqued. She stood up, walked to the window and peered outside. Nothing seemed amiss, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong. She closed her eyes and focused her energy, trying to sense the source of the disturbance. And then she felt it, a powerful force emanating from somewhere nearby.
As she followed the source of the energy, she sensed an overwhelming sense of dread. It was then that she saw the rogue demons. They were unlike anything she had ever seen before. They were dark, shadowy creatures, their eyes glowing with an eerie red light. Alexis knew that these were not the type of supernatural beings that she was used to encountering. These were different, more dangerous.
She knew that she had to act fast. She couldn't allow the rogue demons to continue terrorizing the mortal realm. That's when she sensed someone else nearby. It was Damien. She had heard of him before. He was a demon, sent to earth to stop the rogue demons. He was a powerful creature, and she had heard rumors of his dark powers.
Yes, I remember, this is him. the demon in my dream.
As Alexis approached him, she could sense his energy. It was dark and dangerous, but there was something else there too. Something that drew her to him. She tried to push it aside, knowing that he was not to be trusted, but she couldn't deny the attraction she felt towards him.
Damien turned towards her, his eyes locking with hers. For a moment, they both stood there, staring at each other. And then he spoke, his voice low and commanding.
"You shouldn't be here. It's not safe," he said.
Alexis was taken aback by his words. She had always been fearless when it came to the supernatural world. But there was something about Damien that made her feel vulnerable.
"I know. But I couldn't just stand by and watch as those rogue demons terrorize innocent people," she replied.
Damien nodded in agreement. "I'm here to stop them. But you should leave. It's too dangerous for you here."
Alexis refused to back down. She knew that she had to help, no matter what the cost. She looked at Damien, her eyes pleading.
"Please, let me help. I can sense them. I can help you track them down."
Damien hesitated for a moment, studying her carefully. And then he nodded.
"Fine. But you have to do exactly as I say. These demons are not to be underestimated. They are powerful, and they won't hesitate to kill anyone who stands in their way."
