I watched Reign and Beau walk through her front door on the surveillance screens. She didn't seem to be present in the life happening outside of her own head. Nellie didn't give me all the details about her day, and I could tell by the look on Reign's face it hadn't been a great one.
My phone buzzed obnoxiously in my pocket, but I struggled to take my eyes off the monitors in front of me. After what I had witnessed last time, I was terrified to miss Beau doing something else, something worse.
Without looking at my phone screen, I answered the call.
“Jude," I greeted as I watched Reign walk around the house as if she was haunting it.
“Do you have eyes on Reign?" a panicked Alec rushed out on the other side of the line.
